Editorial Reviews

Viktoria Mullova was first signed to Philips in the early 1980's after she left Russia, where her teachers included Leonid Kogan. Her success in two of the important violin competitions - the Sibelius Competition in Helsinki in 1981 and winning the Gold Medal at the Tchaikovsky Competition in 1982 set her on course for an international career that has resulted in appearances with the greatest orchestras and conductors in the world.
