Bear is an OTT j/p Hero who was also very sweet and protective.
Pepper is a very young and naive heroine. She cursed using food references and came off a bit silly but it was also cute. I think I might start saying raspberries instead of the F word from now on.
This seemed to be a longer story than most from the author and I think that's why I liked it more. The relationship was slower and had a great pace to it.
This book is just too sweet right from the start. Pepper is so shy and sweet, but Bear brings out her inner goddess, and of course, Bear comes off as a bit darker, but Pepper sure knows how to bring out his sweet side. These two together are just the cutest. Their chemistry is perfect, and as always, there is a lot of downright hot and dirty moments that might makes your panties melt off. I love the sweet epilogues too. Just sucks me in every single time.
I love that you surrounded Bear and Pepper with a community, of neighborhood city locals looking after each other.
And once again, you write the best epilogues. I wish other romance authors (particularly scifi romance) would write awesome epilogues Alexa Riley style.
Nerdy girl introvert gets hot fighter I mean come on... YES! Did their romance go fast.. yes did he have the whole me alpha she mine vibe... yes but it's a book, its suppose to take you away from reality and I love when the guy is head over heels for the girl and it is not her who is just begging for attention.
