1. Game Play - 4 stars. For the most part the game play is superb and a lot of fun. The reason for me holding back that 1 star is that you find players diving around on the court too much on all surfaces in order to make the shots that they are a little late on. Its not very realistic to see so many dives on a Tennis court and the resulting shot is weak which is often smashed back by the opponent into the open court.
2. Graphics - 5 stars. The back of the box says 1080 P and the really do mean 1080 P. Color and picture is stunning. Most players are created in great detail with the exception of a few like Maria Sharapova and Venus Williams that look absolutely hideous.
3. Player Style - 4 stars. All shots seem to match the pros to be very lifelike. The only thing that is missing and that could make the game more realistic is the player reactions/ celebrations to points won. Most of the reactions recorded are not very accurate to what you see the real players do on the circuit.
4. Overall - 4 stars. This is still by far the best Tennis game for the PS3. I have played the newer 2009 version and it was just bad all around and that was quite a surprise given that they had an opportunity to improve on this version and need to correct only a few things.
