I am so pleased with this deck. They have managed to bring these Italian Renaissance artworks back to life in exquisite detail from every angle. The reproductions of the images are vibrant and flawless. The gold finish with the etched patterns is stunning. The larger scale of the cards is great way to showcase these beautiful details. I also love the companion book that comes with the set that explains the imagery in its historical context and gives explanation for the additional cards that aren't found in modern tarot decks. This is a unique deck that is unlike any other I've ever seen or used. This historic version of the deck adds clarity to the modern decks at are now used. If you're just a collector who loves beautiful artwork, you'll be thrilled on every level and if you're a card reader of any level, this will really add to your knowledge and understanding of the Tarot in a meaningful way.

I was so excited. And couldn't wait to open these. I opened them up, mind you I've only had them for about 45 minutes before writing this..the Knight of swords edges were gnarly. As if it got caught or banged up against the printer. For almost 100.00 this was very dissatisfied quality. If someone can please message me or reach out to me who is in connection with the author or publishing to send me a nicer quality knight of swords, I'll bump my stars up to a solid five with a review that should be worthy of this deck.
