The deck comes as a complete deck, with the missing Triumphs(Trumps) and Minor Arcana in the original deck restored, you'll have to read the book that comes with it to see how they did it.
If you love the world of Tarot as I do, or if you are a collector of art this fine reproduction is worth more than the asking price.
Packaging is first rate. Shipping was fast, (for me anyway).
(No gold on the edge of the cards, as that was just a kick-starter thing)
I love them. A beautiful investment.
Rich history.
Perfect for alter cards.
Given the size, the deck is more suited to study than reading or play, but study it I do. If Lo Scarabeo ever produces a regular sized deck like their Visconti-Sforza with the practical addition of titles and Roman numerals, I would buy it for a working deck as well (though please use a symmetrical border unlike the Visconti-Sforza version).
The accompanying book is also excellent. (I bought the package as much for the book as the cards.) The historical and iconography essays, based on current research, plus the reading interpretations are all top notch, and very much applicable to the Visconti-Sforza deck as well.
This is easily my favorite Tarot deck. It may well be the most successful restoration of an ancient deck ever attempted.
