I became a fan of B.A. Dillon when I read her debut novel, Tethered Through Time so I was beyond thrilled to read A Vision in Time. I wondered if the second novel would hold up to the first. It not only held blew right past it and that's not anything negative towards the first book, but with this one, I connected so much with Mia's character. Actually, I connected with both characters as well as their story.

In A Vision in Time, we meet Isaac and Mia. Detective Isaac Miller and Mia, a single mom and teacher, have immediate sparks when brought in contact by their friends, Emma and Luke. And while both of them feel the sparks, only Detective Miller, seems interested in pursuing something. Mia has been burned in the past and isn't interested in a repeat although Isaac is definitely on her radar.

My heart hurt for Mia as she not only has trust issues with men but she has a gift of sight that she doesn't know how to deal with. It's something she has tried to keep quiet, but as we saw her help the police in the first book, more and more people are becoming aware. I loved that Isaac accepted her without question. He also was considerate of her trust issues and was patient in pursuing her. He finally wears her down to seeing one another, but she only agrees if no one knows. I have to admit at some points I became frustrated with her and wanted Isaac to put his foot down. He was so awesome with her girls and I kept yelling at her through my kindle to get her rear in gear or he was going to walk.

I loved how Isaac and Mia had to fight for their love. I'm not opposed to insta-love stories at all, but the will to be together and make it work once Mia realized what she had made the book that much more amazing. It just fit this story...if that makes sense.

This is my favorite book so far in the Time Series. I am absolutely 100 percent in love with Mia and Issac's story. This book was so good, so well written, and the story kept me on the edge of my seat.

There was the perfect blend of Hot Sexy time, suspense, love, and swooning. I absolutely am 100 percent in love with Issac.. Between the 21 question games, the Tomato soup and grilled cheese, and his love for the girls... He is just pure perfections and BA Dillon developed his character so well... Where can I get me an Issac...

Mia, I love her. The rebuilding of her trust... Her strength, her abilities. I love her, but how could you not. I love her and Issac stories.. I was falling in love with Issac just as much as Mia smile emoticon

I really love seeing this family Grow smile emoticon You will know what I mean when you read it...

I don't want to completely ruin or spoil this great story.. But it was nice to see Luke and Emma again..It's almost like visiting old friends. I think this book just made my top read list of 2015... So good...

Mia has kept her ability of having visions private, and now that she has helped out Luke and Emma in the previous book, others are finding out about them. The problem is that she hasn't quite gotten a handle on when to expect them, or how to deal with the effects they have on her body, and the fear that people may look at her differently because of them.

This isn't her only problem though. Mia's been hurt in the past, and trust is an extremely difficult thing for her to give. She's got alot on her plate - and she may end up letting the best thing that has happened to her in years walk away. She has met Isaac through Luke and Emma and she holding back on getting involved with him. But Isaac wants her and a relationship with her. Mia decides to give Isaac a chance, but wants to keep what they have quiet, so none of their friends or family knows. Isaac accepts this for now, he thinks he can wear her down, but he does have a breaking point. He knows her fears, and is willing to deal with them - but only for so long.

I really did enjoy that their relationship wasn't an "insta-love" type of deal. It developed slowly over the time while they were "secretly" seeing each other. Isaac was truly amazing. Almost too perfect at times (which I think may be why I held back a star on my rating). He was patient as any man can be, even more than I would have expected from someone. But he handled Mia and her family with such love and care - you could just feel his devotion to them. I especially loved how Isaac was so "in-tune" with Mia when she had her "visions" - and how he took care of her during them and after them, and believed in them.

Mia hasn't been more grateful for a week off, time with her family and friends. Mia has trouble trusting people, when her friends step up to help her move her stuff from her condo to her mothers house, she is blown away. Mia and Isaac keep their relationship to themselves, Isaac doesn't like keeping their relationship a secret. Mia has vision's just like her mother, but her mother sees stuff about Mia and her daughters. Mia get's different kinds of visions, when she gets visions she usually passes out. Mia starts to get a vision about the case that Isaac is working on. What happens next?
Mia is a teacher, she has been hurt before. She has two daughters. She has always had a crush on Isaac. Isaac is a Cyber crimes detective for the Tampa Police Department. He is Mia's friend with benefits. Luke is his mentor and his father Charlie saved him. He looks at them like they are his family. Both of his parents past and he has an older brother Josh. Luke just got out of the hospital, he had a wake up call. Emma has two grown children, Luke's wife. She is Mia's friend and she is very concerned about her. Katie is Emma, Mia and Rebecca's friend, she is married to Shane and pregnant. Shane works with Isaac is married to Katie.Scott makes delicious food, is Mia's coworker. Charlie is Luke's father, cares about Abby. Abby is Mia's mother, she is going blind and she went to St. Augustine's. Rebecca is Mia's friend, has an older son Chad. Alexa is Mia's former student and babysitter for the girls. Sarah and Sophie are Mia's daughters.
This is the second book in the Time series. This is my first book by B.A. Dillon and it wont be my last. I loved how well the story was written and how drawn into the story I was. The characters were very well developed and that I felt connected to the characters. If I could I would give this book more than 5 stars.
