You can easily save whenever you want. You have a neat diary that has little notes in it, nothing helpful if you weren't paying attention to what someone wanted you to do, but it's fun to keep up and think what did he just want me to do. You get points if you find hidden documents in the scenes, but it doesn't highlight when you find it, just a magnifying glass hand so that gets a little hard if you're not looking, but they are optional.
There is a walkthrough out, if need extra help which is nice.
But I just wanted to say the game worked fine for me and it was nice. I agree it wasn't a typical adventure game, the story was different and it had a different vibe as you play especially since it goes in four chapters, but they are long. It's a decent sized game, so overall nice game.
Thanks to Hal Barwood, the designer of this very good and clear game. Thanks, also, to Holger Nathrath, the production manager, for bringing us an excellent game about the infamous Mata Hari, the exotic dancer-turned spy during the First World War. The voices and pronunciations were superb, as was the music, thanks to Dynamedion GMK.
The puzzles got more and more challenging as the player progressed, and the plot was full of intrigue, trickery and lies.
This was a superior game which could have been much better if the travel from Paris, to Berlin, to Monaco, to Paris, to Berlin, to Monaco, could have been lessened.
Nevertheless, I recommend this game. It's worth the money!
the truth is ..it is all conversations..
but i am glad i downloaded it bc i wanted to get screenshots
from the game to make paintings for my sims 3 families.
