Viva Naturals Apple Cider Vinegar
It's no wonder you might have heard the words 'apple cider vinegar' (ACV) so often, given that it can multitask with the best of us. But you may not be sure what to look for, or how to fit it into your day-to-day. No worries — we’ll give you the straight goods on this long-trusted staple. Our ACV is naturally fermented from organic, USA-grown apples, and packaged in glass bottles to preserve its fresh taste. It’s great as a digestive pick-me-up, in your favorite dishes, as a household cleaner, or for hair care.

The Viva Naturals Difference
We start by pressing a blend of hand-picked, organic, USA-grown apples. The fresh apple juice (not concentrate!) is then turned into vinegar (or an acetic acid solution, if you want to get fancy) by naturally-present bacteria as the juice ferments. And no heat or harsh chemicals are used throughout the process.
Full of the Mother
The natural bacteria makes the ACV look murky, but it has a very noble-sounding name: 'The Mother'. Like any mother, it wants only the best for you — which is why it’s a sign of top-quality ACV. While the amount you see may vary, it’s raw, unfiltered goodness is always there.
Bottled in glass
You want your ACV to taste fresh and tangy, so glass was a natural choice. It preserves flavor and is recyclable, too.
An Apple a Day
Use in a simple morning tonic or tea
Many people mix ACV into a tonic or tea first thing in the morning or before each meal, for digestion or general wellness. Mix 1 tablespoon of ACV into a cup of warm water (some like to add a teaspoon of honey, too), or mix 1-2 teaspoons of ACV into a glass of cold water or juice. It’s important to dilute it this way; we don’t recommend drinking undiluted ACV.
Drizzle a little on your favorite foods
Reach for ACV instead of white or balsamic vinegar for your next salad dressing (use 1 part ACV to 3 parts oil), add to sauces and marinades for some tang, or drizzle on cooked greens. It’s also great in coleslaw or gazpacho, and hearty fall and winter soups and dishes.
Try it on your hair
Many use ACV as a hair rinse or a leave-in conditioner, as it can make your hair super silky, and work wonders on dry, itchy scalps and frayed ends. Just wash your hair, then massage diluted ACV into your roots, scalp, and all the way through your hair. Leave it in for a half-hour a few times a week.
Make a natural household cleaner
Mix one part ACV with one part water for a non-toxic, all-purpose household cleaner (it can help keep little household crawlies at bay). To help clear away pesticides and bacteria from fresh fruits and veggies, give them a quick bath of 10% ACV and 90% water, then rinse (not recommended for fragile or porous fruits, though).

Why choose Viva Naturals Apple Cider Vinegar?
Non-GMO & Certified USDA Organic with the “Mother”
In traditional liquid Apple Cider Vinegar, you can hold up a bottle up and see lots of “the Mother” floating around — a murky mix of bacterial cultures that comes from the natural fermentation process (it’s like a neon “Pure” sign in ACV circles). Non-GMO and certified USDA organic, it’s got all the benefits of apple cider vinegar you’re looking for.
Made fresh in the USA (not from concentrate!)
We use a blend of apples (including Gravenstein, Gala and Jonathan) from a few key US states including California, Washington and Oregon. They’re hand-picked at their peak, and harsh chemicals are used in the ACV-making process.
You’ll taste the difference in every bottle of our ACV - fresh Crisp Apples.
Bottom line: Having ACV at home helps make living well simple. Click Add to Cart to try this pure pantry staple yourself.
