When you get to that point that you need one of these, buy a good one. Strong, sturdy, otherwise you (or your significant other) may get stuck in bed. Not a good thing....
I have been really pleased with this assist rail. It was a straightforward assembly, even for my terribly arthritic hands. You might need a second person (maybe) to slightly lift the mattress while you slide the rail between that mattress and foundation. But once it's setup it works perfectly, nothing wobbles. Very pleased, it was worth the cost.
