Product aesthetics on arrival - When this vivarium arrived, the veneer around the corners, and sides had started to peel off, and was chipped in placed. This has lead to crickets and hoppers being able to escape from the chips caused during transit.
Product it's self - The glass it's self does not fit correctly within the rails provided; falls into the vivarium very easily. This is not ideal at all, as when opening and closing the vivarium for feeding time and taking the dragon out the glass will fall into the vivarium, which is quite frankly, is scary. The wooden bottom to the vivarium has also started to 'bow' slightly from the weight of the sand - this is not due to having too much sand at one time, as only half of the vivarium actually has sand!
As this was a starter kit, this appealed to us as it came with a lighting unit. On arrival this unit did not work and had to be replaced; although this was a quick turn around, a new light cycle unit was bought (would recommend the light cycle unit, apposed to the light unit) it would of been better if everything was tested before sending out the units.
All in all, I would not recommend this vivarium to anybody. The shelves within the unit provide way too much shade within the vivarium, meaning the dragon will not get enough UVA/UVB while in these areas, as well as being VERY close to the halogen lamps if on the top shelf. This have been removed and wholes sealed.
