Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I had done a fair amount of research before buying this tv. Very happy with the tv and the fast shipping. I also have a 55” of the same model tv. Bout to go play some 4K gaming on my Xbox one X and my 65”Visio.
The TV can't run most streaming apps through its smartcast feature. I've been using my Xbox instead for the last couple years but now the TV is functioning so poorly that that doesn't even work very well. The TV is never actually able to apply software updates either.
I love that I chose this TV. After reading reviews from various websites, including Rtings.com, I bought this one for a great deal. The TV has stunning definition, clear picture and great dark management. The fact that is compatible with HDR 10 and Adobe Vision was a plus for me as well. Built-in chromecast is awesome, making it easy to stream from your phone.
I purchased this tv off of Vizios website. Picture quality is beautiful, but I cannot stress enough that if your tv will have problems Vizios customer support team is horrible and rude and will not help. I had an issue with a white flickering white line that ran across my tv at the bottom of my screen. Vizio outright refused to help me and told me nothing is wrong with my tv so when I told them I will return the tv if i get no help they didn't care and I had to pay a 10% "restock fee". I would expect better service when I pay $1,300 for a tv. I will tell you what there will never be another vizio tv in my house again. Vizio should call Amazon and ask them on how to run a proper customer service department.

Random reset, distorted images in everyway you can possibly imagine.
I had purchased P65-D1 and had to get it replaced twice for image distortion issue. On second replacement, I got p65-E1 and that is when nightmare started.
After playing video for 10 minutes, it started to reset at random intervals. I did all troubleshootings but nothing helped. So I got another replacement and this time Vizio customer team shipped recertified unit. No one woul like to get their unit replaced with recertified unit, but I actually preferred it in a hope that this unit would have been verified and tested by Vizio at least twice.
Surprising enough, smart screen setup screen which pops up on first time tv is powred on, is already distorted. If anyone ever powered on this unit once, they would have noticed it. So I am guessing Viio just replace defect with another defect from other person when there is replacement report.
I talked to guys who delivered replacement TV. They said some customer had to get their tv replaced 8 times already. I already got teplaced three times and going for fourth one now.
First i did not buy this wonderful TV on Amazon. I bought this to replace my old Vizio. I did a lot of research and waited for the right price and time to buy. Luckily it was on sale at the warehouse store for a lot less than any place or online store. It was very easy to set up. It has the ability to connect to wifi and so it made it easy to update apps and other contents on the tv. LOVE IT!!! I took advantage of youtube to assist on how to use this tv. Only recommendation is to upgrade your satellite/cable to 4k. Picture is awesome. Can't wait for football, basketball, and horse racing season!!! Highly Recommend for the price and quality.
We got only just enough time to enjoy this TV during the warranty period before the problems started. I can't tell you enough not to waste your money. There are so many issues that have me frustrated enough that I don't even want to fight with this TV long enough to be able to watch anything.
1. Randomly flickering horizontal lines across the screen. Usually happens a handful of times, then move to step 2 2. TV resets. Sometimes it only happens once a day. Other times it'll happen several times within an hour. It automatically just up and shuts down and comes back on, a process which takes a solid 2 minutes. Were you in the middle of doing/watching something? Too bad. 3. Smartcast problems. Every time I want to cast something from my phone it's a 50/50 chance whether or not it will connect properly. Sometimes the sound makes it to the TV, but not the picture. Other times it won't connect at all. Not just a problem with my phone either, other people have had the same problem when using my TV.
The picture is beautiful. Just wish the TV worked long enough for me to enjoy it.
I own 3 Vizio tvs. They make a solid tv,I have a 40" hanging on my wall for 11 years now,the 55" is hanging in the mastered room for 6 years and just bought this 65" P65-E1 for the living room and it blows the doors of my other 2, just to make one thing straight Vizio uses letters such as p65-e1,p55u-e11 you must know the "P" series is the flagship for Vizio you will see "E" that is economically lower price less tv,,,pay the extra dollars and get the "P" series after all its the main entertainment in your house and you will thank yourself for doing so.
