The book builds successively on the code in order from chapter to chapter with 12 chapters in all. It is perfect for those new to building on the Alexa and Google Assistant platforms.
The cover looked interesting to me but I almost passed this book up when I saw it in my queue because I thought it may have been some sort of medieval romance novel. How wrong I was. The picture is entitled "Woman from Dalmatia" and there is a bit of history included on why this particular image was chosen. This is a great read as well as a reference guide for building voice applications on the Alexa and Google Assistant platforms.
In this book, Dustin provides a great overview for both beginners and advanced developers and teaches how to build applications for the two biggest platforms: Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. I can highly recommend to dive into this book and learn about the voice-first era.
