I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, and appreciate how vulnerable Aaron has allowed himself to be in writing it. I've read a dozen or more similar books focusing on mindset, and usually i breeze through without learning much new. This one, however, got into my psyche in a way that no other mindset book ever has, and is hitting me where it counts. Aaron wrote this from his heart, and it shows.
My only criticism is that the book feels unpolished and raw at times, particularly at the end of chapters where he tosses in activities to do almost as an afterthought. DON'T LET THESE PASS YOU BY. He chooses easy, quick, actionable activities that were life-altering for me, especially the one about re-visioning your childhood.
Frankly, though, where I might ignore a highly-polished and perfectly-presented activity recommendation from T Harv Ecker or Hal Elrod, or not take it as seriously, Aaron Anastazi's activities hit me right behind the eyes and I have no choice but to take action.
When I came to the "it's never too late to have a happy childhood" activity, for example, I literally felt instantly angry and resentful, even though I was lying comfortably in my bed while reading on my Kindle. But you know what? I elbowed myself out of bed and walked straight over to my desk to do the activity to prove him wrong.
But of course he wasn't wrong.
And I am a better person for it.
Thanks, Aaron.
