About the Author
Traci Taylor lives in her home state of Oregon. She has four grown children and seven grandchildren, and she lives in the country with her husband, two dogs, and a cat. When she’s not indulging her interests in gardening and photography, she enjoys feeding the wide range of birds that visit her home. When her son, Daniel, came out in 1996 at the age of 15, Traci was thrust into a whole new world that she wanted to understand. Daniel was touring with his movie, The Big Gay Musical, when he announced in front of a Washington, D.C., audience that not only did his mom not mind that he was in a gay movie, she was writing an LGBTQ book. I am personally grateful to the author for sharing her story and Daniel's, which will also help mothers all around the world and people who are scare to embrace be who they really are (Me, being one of them not too long ago). I am also very happy to be a part of this work, as I wrote to them:
Thank you, Momma Traci & Daniel Robinson for allowing to express myself in a way I wasn't able to before and for letting me be a part of it! It's been four years since my first letter to you and so much has changed for the better! The book is just amazing and so inspiring! Thank you! Wilfredo, Venezuela!
