I usually wait longer to write a review, but these speakers are very, very nice and I don't anticipate that my opinion is liable to change much. (If it does, I'll update this review.) I bought two ROLLs and paired them for stereo; while the sound quality is a bit lower than that of my older Big Jambox, the ROLLs are more durable by far (the corners on the Jambox are prone to dents and crushing) and the wider available channel separation with the paired ROLLs makes up for some of that. The paired ROLLs certainly sound worlds better than my (single) JAM-Plus speaker, and are superior to it in every way imaginable except that the JAM-Plus is a bit lighter and therefore more portable. I like the looks of the ROLLs very much as well, and the battery life has been decent. So far I've experienced two major downsides. One of the speakers has a cover-door over the charging port that doesn't want to close properly, and it has a reluctant "on" button as well. I haven't decided yet if these relatively minor issues are worth returning the thing over or not. Otherwise, so far so good!
I should also note that, due to my having made a stupid mistake during setup, I've already dealt with UE's customer service. I didn't have to wait even one minute, and the person I spoke to was helpful (and patient!) in every way.
UPDATED May 9, 2016-- The sticky on/off switch and cover quickly resolved themselves with usage. However, I've also noticed that about 30% of the time, using an Apple 6+ phone, the stereo-pairing feature needs to be reset in order to work properly after the phone has been taken out of bluetooth range of the speaker. Perhaps more than 30% of the time-- I use them very intermittently through the day, sometimes breaking the bluetooth and sometimes not, and in my particular usage-case it's easy to lose track. Very often the speakers enter a "semi-paired" mode where one speaker's battery-power level isn't reported and both speakers play intermittently, stuttering along both singly and together in mono only until manually reset. This is a bit of a pain, one I very much hope will be resolved in future software updates.
Also, for others who may care, the ROLLs will play just fine while charging.
UPDATE May 27, 2016-- UE has indeed updated their software-- at least on Apple devices-- and the stereo pairing feature now works much better. It's not quite 100% and still doesn't want to link up sometimes. especially when content is already playing. But the problems are 95% resolved, and I'm much happier now.

I bought this speaker to replace the two I bought last year for my bike rides. They were much cheaper than this one, and towards the end, the internal batteries barely lasted long enough for me to finish a 1 1/2-2 hour ride listening to music at moderately high volume. Gotta have my jams to keep me motivated, and earbuds are a no-no when you're sharing the road with drivers who come dangerously close to you.I charged it up out of the box and used it for the first time yesterday while working on my cars for 2 hours. Took it out for its inaugural 1 1/2 hour bike ride this morning, and have been using it for the past 4+ hours while putzing around the house - all on the same charge! The only time the audio became distorted was when I tried using my phone while my Sony mp3 walkman was connected via bluetooth.The sound is amazing! Even at near-max volume, it's crystal clear. I'm already impressed at how long the initial charge is lasting. I'm not a techie, but connecting via bluetooth is super easy. Turn it on, search for it on your device & connect. So simple, a child could do it - and I didn't even have to pay one to show me how!The instructions aren't terribly clear, but there are only 3 buttons, so you can easily figure it out. Power (on the back), volume up and volume down (on the front). The included bungee makes it easy to hang on a doorknob, or wrap around the phone/accessory handlebar bag on my bike (see picture).The one thing you can't do is advance tracks with it. Not a biggie if you create playlists that have a good musical flow. Definitely worth the price!
