Vornado is a great brand; I've had several of their fans over the years and this lives up to my expectations.
The reto look is really cool! It looks great on the end table in my living room. I wanted a small fan but I didn't think I would find one this neat looking.
You can tip it so it's facing up to circulate the air in the room, or point it forward to blow on you like you would with a normal fan. The breeze can be put on a mellow setting or you can turn it to a brisk one. It's very effective.
The fan is very quiet which some people don't like because they want it to make white noise for sleeping. I would agree if that was my purpose, but since it's in my living room I appreciate the way it's silent.
All the moving parts, including the function that allows you to point the fan where you want, are very smooth and solid. They're a good indicator of the high quality of it.
My only complaint is that the switch to turn it on or adjust the speed, is on the back which means you have to reach way around, or turn the fan to use it. That's a real pain in the butt, but it's not a deal breaker.
Overall, I really recommend the Vornado fan!

Perfect for Steamy Hot Boat in Key West

I bought this for my new 30 ft liveaboard sailboat. I’m in Key West and it is HOT! The portable AC unit that was in the boat when I bought it combined with poor insulation and it’s unbearable in here. The V Berth is like a sauna. Sheets are actually damp. It’s awful. Zero air flow back there. I bought 1 and pointed it towards the back. Within minutes it’s now cool back there. I just bought another for the front of the boat to help with air circulation up front. I only wish it was the seafoam green shows. It’s actually a dark muted almost forest green. Aside from the color I love this.
