Poor quality control.

My set came with 4 defective keys. The right arrow key has a blue print smudge, the right shift key is broken, and top "3" key has the character printed too thin, and the "F" key was misprinted as "E". This is really bad quality control, and there does not seem to be a way to contact the seller for replacements via Amazon. My only recourse now, it seems, is to return the keycap set entirely.

Shocking right? If you read the other reviews for this item, you would think that you have no chance of getting a decent keycap set.

If you want to experience the 'magic' that is thick PBT at a bargain, I can definitely recommend this set or others offered by Vortex. I received an entire package with no duplicates or cracked keys. They aren't winning any awards for aesthetics BUT they do feel great and will hold me off as I wait for my Granite, Pulse SA & Nantucket Select. Vortex is the company behind the insanely popular, Poker II and Pok3r keyboards. I am typing on a MX Clear backlit Pok3r as we speak and am loving these bad boys.

Look, if you want fancy designs, perfectly sculpted keys with all the trimmings, do not purchase a set from Vortex or Tai Ho. Head over to PMK, Massdrop or a mechanical keyboard community and expect to drop at LEAST $80. Even then, there are often mistakes and blemishes to be had. It's the nature of this delicate plastic that can shatter very easily. I couldn't take waiting any longer for a group buy. 2.5 Months and several delays later, I had no end in sight. Cancelled my order, spent the same dollar amount and got this set within a day.

Anyways, this is a great affordable keycap set for those of you who are financially strapped, impatient or for those of you who don't lose sleep over the appearance of your keyboard. Overall, I'm very happy and can already a major difference over the stock ABS caps that I was using beforehand.

Note: I slightly altered the color of font on keycaps. But that is all!

I read all the reviews with people receiving bad keycaps and I took the chance. Sadly, I too received a bad keycap. Everything was great, no flaws other than my letter "A" key being printed upside down. I put it on with the "A" facing upright and i noticed the keycap wasn't aligned with the rest of the keys. So I decided to flip the key upside down and to my surprise, it was printed incorrectly. I sent the seller a message regarding a replacement key. I will update the rating to 5 stars if they send me a replacement keycap.

Update: I contacted the seller immediately and received the correct keycaps and they replaced it for me. The seller was prompt when responding and was very compliant. The keycaps are very durable, they show no signs of fading or any form of wear and tear. The quality is superb. I have no complaints about the font, the colors, and the spacing of the keycaps. Definitely would recommend to others.

Real Doubleshot PBT Caps at an Entry Level Price

I installed these caps on a Cooler Master Quickfire Rapid with MX Blue keyswitches and love them! All caps were in the bag on arrival and I had no issues with quality. Since the Quickfire Rapid is tenkey-less I only used 87 of the total 104 keycaps. The thickness of the PBT is nice and the spacebar was almost completely flat and level, something I've heard can be inconsistent with real PBT due to warping.

The caps fit tightly on the keyswitches and improved the feel and sound of the board. I also used o-rings to dampen the bottom-out.

Two of the caps had tiny little marks on them that appeared to be pencil marks. I'm not deducting any points for this because the marks are minute and will probably clean off.

Pros:
Real double-shot PBT at a very affordable price
Well molded caps with well defined legends

Cons:
Traditional styling of legends that may not appeal to everyone
Weird-looking caps lock legend (down arrow) - I had to look at the image on Amazon to figure out where this went

Overall great caps for rock-bottom price! The only other caps to compete with these on Amazon are Tai-Hao, and I've heard the antibiotic coating of those wears off and looks bad. So these are probably the best you can get right now on Amazon.

Great Keycaps, Especially for the Price

I've only had these for a short while, but here is a pretty quick summery for anyone interested.

All keys came in and none were deformed or broken (some posts below have said this was an issue, but all mine look great).

A couple of keys are harder to put in place than others, but none resisted to the point of me worrying about damage being done.

Does not come with keycap puller (I had one, but you may not, so make sure you do when they arrive!)

Feels much better than ABS keycaps and just seems more solid compared to the stocks I was using

Not the most textured (sandpapery) PBT keycaps I've had used. If you are searching for something very textured look somewhere else. If you prefer mild texture than these are for you!

Great clean look, and much better than most stock keycaps for sure!

Not see-through (for the new guys!). If you have backlighting it will not shine through the tops of the caps, however it will shine mildly through the sides.

Overall I would say they are fantastic for the price, and though I would prefer a more textured feeling (very personal preference), I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to buy PBT keycaps, but don't want to spend $60+ on duckys or custom PBT

Double F7, missing F1 otherwise awesome purchase!

Bought these two days ago for my DasKeyboard and they are VERY well put together keys! Installation was amazingly straight forward and easy however there seem to be two F7 keys and no F1 key. I'm definitely not one to complain but I would definitely like to have an F1 key.

Does anyone know how to contact the seller?
