Vivienne spends some time in Italy to learn the ropes of her new sales position. While staying at the home of her new boss and his famous wife, Vivienne relaxes, has a long overdue sexual encounter, experiences a woman's seductive kiss, and learns a lot about jet planes. She comes out of her tightly wound shell and enjoys herself with her newfound friends. When she returns home to Savannah, she immerses herself in her work and her very pregnant best friend Dom. Good things are finally on Vivienne's horizon.
Vivienne is a very likeable character. Her ability to tackle and fix situations that she is not comfortable with is inspiring. Her friend Dom is a very good amateur hacker, and her enthusiasm to obtain pertinent information is humorous. The women in this installment are positive role models and their stability is refreshing. Overall, this is a fun and entertaining read.

I found Voyage to be even more fast paced than the previous books, a lot happens to Vivienne and she had some new experiences to discover. Vivienne finds herself facing new challenges in this book and I love her strong and organised personality. Although just like most people she has her doubts and I had my fingers crossed that things would work out okay.
The story is fun & light-hearted, perfect to read if you need to relax and forget about things for a while. Just like the other books in the series Voyage is only a short story so it really is perfect to read in one go.
The addition of Annalize and Mikel to the story is great, they really help to bring Vivienne out of her shell and restore some much needed confidence. I thought they had such fun personalities in the previous book but things get just that a little bit hotter in this one.
I'm looking forward to the next book in the series - Soaring, which I believe will be released on the 20th April.
Flirty and just that little bit sizzling!
Thank you to Karen Gordon for my copy. This is my honest and unbiased opinion.
Vivienne's career path has taken her on an unexpected adventure abroad and the surprises don't stop there. Vivienne is definitely on her way up in the world and it's well-deserved for all her hard work and talent. What I love most in this installment of the story is that we see Vivienne has a very "normal" side - one that has doubts and fears and wonders how in the world she'll handle what life has handed her. But with her own resources and the support of her friends, Vivienne has what she needs to keep moving forward. So while her career is a little over-the-top for most of our everyday lives, this part of her is very real and very relatable.
I'll be honest here and say that the book gets a little more explicitly sexy in this book, but it doesn't feel gratuitous and does not detract from the story - in fact, it makes sense in the overall context.
Once again, I love knowing I can sit and spend an hour and finish the entire book...but it's over far too soon. I can't decide if I love the quick installments or wish the author had combined them into fewer longer works. Either way, the story is great and you won't have to wait long to find out what happens in the next leg of Vivienne's journey.
I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
