Simply well-designed and a pleasure to use. Each spoon sits flat and steady on a countertop, so you can use two hands to tap powder out of a container into one of the spoons, or fill one with liquid and set it down without spilling any. The narrow end fits into small containers. Having two ends means you can measure a tablespoon (or whatever) of two different things before having it wash it. The magnets are just strong enough to hold the set of spoons together neatly in a kitchen drawer, without sticking much to anything else. The labels are easy to read, and indicate both US conventional sizes and milliliters. The stainless steel won't stain, and won't mind being stuck into boiling water or very hot food. The set includes a useful 1/2 tablespoon size that some sets do not... but I miss the smallest 1/8 teaspoon size that some sets have. This set goes down only to 1/4 teaspoon, but I can always just eyeball it about half full.

Great organized measuring spoons!

I have a set of metal measuring spoons already but they’re loose and are only kept together with one of those rings. I found that another set would be handy and I thought these magnetic ones sounded like a great addition.

Once these came in, I washed them and tried them out the same day. They’re a sturdy metal with some weight and the magnetic portions are located where the colored plastic (?) is. They nest in one another perfectly and because I store them with a few of my silverware, they often attract a spoon/fork. I love how they’re all kept together and all I need to do is return it to its position.

The only downside is that the measurements on these spoons don’t match my other set which I’ve had for years. This set has a 1/2 TBSP whereas the other doesn't (it only has a 1/2 tsp) and I had assumed it was a 1/2 tsp when I saw the 1/2. I ended up using way too much salt. That was of no fault of the product so I still give it the full 5 stars!

I bought these as a gift for my mom because hers were held together by a kind of key ring, so she had to wash them all whenever she used one.
She absolutely loves these. She said they solve all the problems any of these sets usually have.

1. The oval shaped spoons make it easier to fit into a small spice bottle AND she finds it easier to measure liquids in the oval ones
2. The magnet is just strong enough to hold them together in the drawer, but it’s easy and quick to grab the required spoon.
They hold flat on the counter so you can measure your ingredients ahead of time and leave them in the spoon on the counter until ready to add in the recipe.
3. The colors make it easy to identify the spoon you want (it didn’t take long for her to remember which color correspond to which volume)

I have to say that these are nice! You can use both sides of the measuring spoons to measure, which when I am making certain recipes, this works great. The longer side I can use in my spice jars and the round side I can use for liquid measurements. While the magnet side is great for some, I find that the magnets work but if you have them in the silverware drawer (like I do) you will find other metal items getting attached to the spoons and sometimes it is difficult to get them apart easily. I find that I have to pull them apart from each other if I am going to be using them because when I tried with one clean hand, it was something that was not easy.
In conclusion, this is not a bad measuring spoon set. Great gift for housewarming or newly married couple.

How often does a product make you smile, even laugh? There is something so playful about the design of these measuring spoons -- the bright colors, the magnetic way they adhere to one another, coupled with the quality of their manufacture; I get a kick out of them!

I have a ton of different measuring spoons, as my partner and I go through a lot in the course of a day, but these guys are my favorite set. I hate the ones on rings that just feel so cumbersome. These on the other hand, stick together while being able to be pulled apart instantly, and it is handy that each one has two measures -- one narrow for fitting into smaller container openings. Plus, it means if you need to measure, say, a tablespoon of almond butter and a tablespoon of cocoa at breakfast, as I often do, I can use the two tablespoons on the same utensil without having to head back to the spoon drawer to root around for yet another..
