I really like this little shelf. It's made of strong materials ( plastic and metal ) and it fit my wall outlet perfectly.

I'm using mine for my Echo Plus and decided that it looks better with the shelf upside down. This allows the Echo to hide the plug(s) and outlet. I tucked the wires into the side slot on the back of the shelf and ran the plug through a hole that I drilled to help keep the wire hidden. ( See pictures ) It works great!

( FYI - I use my Google plug because it is white and matches better than the black Amazon plug. )

Edit : I moved my WALI shelf into my living room today and took a new picture to show my Echo Plus 2nd Generation on it. The shelf is still holding up great and I ordered a 2nd one yesterday for my kitchen Echo Spot.

They say it's the little things in life and this is one of those little things that really brings me joy. I'm very organized and I recently got an Echo for $0.99 (can't pass that up). I already had my JBL Charge speaker, which I love for the sound quality. I was happy to find out my echo can be synced with my JBL speaker, but on to the review for the stand...

I set this up in literally a minute, maybe even less. Just grab a flathead screwdriver and remove your current outlet plate. Then assemble the stand (in just one click), place the proper black plate in front of the stand (check the screw alignment-this stand includes 2 plates), and mount the stand to your outlet. Some people mentioned this only works with more recent outlets, but my condo has the older plates with one screw and it worked fine.

I bought this to use with my Echo, but I tested my JBL speaker (since it's heavier) AND the Echo on top and the stand still seemed sturdy. I absolutely LOVE that this stand allowed me to tuck the excess cables in so they're unseen. I used to have cables everywhere in this spot and now it looks clean and organized.

I honestly was looking around my condo today to see if there's an opportunity to buy another one lol. Great price, great quality, and brownie points for allowing me to be more organized

My family is “all-in” on Amazon’s Echo devices. We literally have them in every room of the house, including the bathrooms, where we placed these shelves. Space is at a premium in our bathrooms, and I didn’t want our Echo devices sitting on the bathroom countertop. For that purpose, these work perfectly and seem to be very sturdy. Installation was easy, and the included mounting plates are made of metal and are very strong.

As an aside, some of our guests are a little puzzled as to why we would want an Echo device in the bathroom, but it comes in handy. Our teenagers sometimes forget to bring a towel, so they call for one, or play music while in the shower, or whatever.

This may be a premature review, this is based on the look, workmanship and overall presentation of the units. In other words I have not had the chance to put them in use yet! However the fit & finish seem good, ease of use seem reasonable and should last under normal use for some time. I just have not found the place I can use these yet; these would be ideal for a spartan room with no tables or places to set the smart speaker or other device. Since the unit has to be “installed” it does not lend itself as a travel unit per se, so this may be a limited use item. I’m an admitted gadget freak, “hello my name is Don, and I’m a gadget freak”..... so this has a specific target buyer the unit is good construction should serve the purpose you need it for, .... when you find it!

I’m glad I purchased this. This was easily installed and only took minutes. It looks esthetically very nice. I hated the cords hanging around & especially in my Sons room it often caused him getting hung up & pulling his echo dot from the window shelf. Our Alexa now has a nice place in the living room where the sound when playing music has improved 100% vs sitting on the window ledge. My original reason for purchase was the limited amount of space we have for our Alexa, but I also like not having to pick it up anymore when dusting & risking dropping it. Very need little improvement I can recommend to anyone!

Bulky plugs may have trouble fitting

If you have gizmos that need to perch near their outlet (hubs for smart lights, voice assistants, electric toothbrushes or shavers), then this is a great product that elevates these items off the countertop or floor.

Installation is easy - the two pieces slide together, you remove the existing outlet cover, then the new outlet panel provides the holding power for the shelf.

If the plugs you have for your devices aren't oversized squares or don't need to share the outlet with a WiFi booster, then this product is 5 star. I had a Wifi booster that had to share the outlet with an oversized plug and it's a little snug but they fit!

The good:
The actual shelf plug idea is great idea, and I was excited to get it delivered. The shelf part was bigger than I expected which is the main reason for me returning it. Just too big for the space I wanted it in, but quality was excellent.
The bad:
I am giving a 4 star review as the unit arrived damaged. One of the shelves had a defect on it. Maybe it was packaged incorrectly when it should have been scrapped? no big deal, as I am certain I could have returned it, and had a replacement sent out. I was returning it anyway, so never followed up on the defect.
