The characters are vividly drawn and entertaining...Colfer also incorporates some steampunk elements into the setting, which amps up the appeal. Fans of his other books will love this new addition and eagerly await the next installment in the series."--VOYA

I much prefer the Victorian London setting in these books. The new characters are well written and the growth of the boisterous Otto Malarkey makes him a new favorite character. I hope we see more of him in the final book. The book is action packed and more violent, but just as humorous as the first. I can't wait for the conclusion of the trilogy.
The other thing I like about this author is his books are often even better when read again. Just finished this book for the second time and laughed even more the this time.
