Not a good chain lube

I love WD40 lubricant so when I saw they make chain lube I bought some. I cleaned my motorcycle chain with top brand chain cleaner and dried it well. The WD40 said the lube would dry quickly and not "fling off". Two days later it was still quite damp. I rode the bike and the lube flew off everywhere. I cleaned it again and used a name brand motorcycle chain lube. It dried very quickly and doesn't fling off. I will now use the WD40 chain lube on other items , but NOT on my motorcycle chains. .

Used for chain and worm gear garage doors openers, plus all springs, rollers, and bearings. The straw shoots in a pretty far stream, about 3' accurately. The product is wet, does not seem to be dehydrating like regular wd40. The doors are very noticeably much quieter for days now, will continue to monitor longevity.

Was mislead by a youtuber. Later discovered the recommendation was sponsored by WQD-40. If you are a mechanic, you will know this stuff is poor. And it flings. Don't waste your money.
