The return window was 30 days only (odd) which we missed. I can't find any info online for the manufacturer to discuss options for protecting the current condition of the table. So since it is warm today (January) my wife oiled it again. Let's hope the imperfections are done popping and we will just continue to enjoy it in its current condition. We will tarp it going forward to protect it from the outdoors......
The paint started to come out in several spots since a few weeks.
So it arrived this morning and took me 50min to ensamble it. Because I put 2 parts wrong and loose some time taking it apart and doing it again. I do recommend to check the next steps every time to see which position parts actually go.
The clips to leave it open, one, the screw crack the top, as you can see in photo. And one of the frames for the top, the screw just turns loose, for some reason, those are my 2 complains... That I wish I could replace, other than that, really nice looking table!. Will update in a while!.
Putting this item together was exceptionally difficult. Thankfully all items in the box were clearly labeled, but many of the pre drilled holes were not cut entirely through. Of the holes that were cut through, it was simply a clean hole and there was no threading inside to catch the screw. This made the product practically not useable because it isn’t secure. There was also damage to the stain (coloring) in several places and the outside leafs of the table top bow down with the middle extension added. I’ve emailed the company to assist with a resolution with no response at this time. Will update if they provide a response.
Expect to have to glue, clamp, and machine most of the parts to work.
Instructions were horrible, too.
For the money, I wish I would have just bought quality wood, and built my own.
