With three different operating speeds of 80, 120 and 200 feet per minute, achieve the perfect cut on a variety of sizes and materials. This bandsaw includes a durable stand with a collapsible handle and two 4-inch never-flat wheels to keep your bandsaw elevated and easy to transport. The beveling vise provides a firm grasp on your work piece, allowing the bandsaw to create angled cuts anywhere from 0 to 60 degrees. Make 45-degree cuts up to 3-1/2 Inch in diameter for circular material and 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 Inch for square material. If horizontal cutting isn't your style, simply lift the bandsaw head into the vertical position and attach the included table. Ball bearing blade guides provide a long lifespan and reliable operation while the auto-shut off mechanism automatically stops the bandsaw once a cut has been completed. Onboard blade tension and tilt knobs make for easy adjustments and minor tweaks in-between jobs. The WEN 4-inch by 6-inch Metal-Cutting Bandsaw also features a work piece stop for uniform cuts, a pre-installed 64-1/2 inch x 1/2 inch blade, a 4.6 amp motor and a feed rate adjustment handle to make changes to the speed at which the saw lowers itself during horizontal cutting operations. And because it is a WEN product, your metal-cutting bandsaw comes backed by a two-year warranty, a nationwide network of skilled service technicians and a friendly customer help line. Remember when you could cut through 24 square Inch of steel in a single pass? Remember WEN.

All the negative reviews are obviously from people that are either clueless in this field or just plain incompetent. Thats with the assumption that everything arrived not damaged which I was fortunate to have. I order a lot of “stuff” online it’s so much easier.
Anyway this is a 300 dollar saw and it cuts like a champ if you know what your doing. Made over 100 cuts on various merchant bars - no problems!

1st thing I did was build a stand / bench for my height 6' 1" 3 inch locking casters for total mobility
for the DYI good saw at a good price
As for cutting, this cut ok with the stock blade. When that wore out and I switched the Bosch blade, it was like cutting through butter, I had to scale back the spring tension as it was cutting to quick.
The transitioning mechanism is not difficult but not intuitive and takes some time and disassembly. The plate opening for the blade in the vertical position is too large to work small pieces, as they fall through the large opening and cause the blade to catch and stall. I am still working on a way to make that work.
Overall, in the horizontal with a new blade, this thing rocks. I did experience a few moments of the stock blade catching material and stalling causing the mother to get hot. Once I replaced the blade have not had that issue.
If you thinking this makes a great conversion piece, it is ok, but not great. A little more time spent engineering the plate for the vertical would have make this really nice.
Update after cutting 60 or so pieces:
I removed the short stop rod and made a longer one so I could cut 12 inch pieces of 3/4 emt. Worked very well though I have to detach it for storage (sticks out too far). Very repeatable/accurate. The upper blade guide isn't exactly parallel: be sure to set your angle with it locked down. It moves 2-3 degrees otherwise. The blade shows very little wear. I expected to need to replace it since stock blades are usually not that great. All cutting was done on the middle speed setting (120fpm).
If I need to make angle changes frequently I'll replace the existing bolt with something a little faster. Still very pleased with this saw.
