Some things i didn't like:
The level design is sometimes annoying.
The camera hides bad guys so you cant see them sneaking up on you. This is extremely annoying in the higher difficulties when badguys can kill you with fewer shots.
No replay mode. You can't replay a previous save with all your weapons and moves unlocked so in the early levels your relying on alot of the same moves to get the job done, especially if you want a high multiplier. (which looks cool at first but after awhile it gets kinda boring if you do the same moves over and over)
Things i DID like:
Game is very easy. Worst thing you want is a game that plays great but is impossible to enjoy because the game is too hard to play at times.
Once you upgrade all your moves, the game is extremely fun, Even if you have to double back to the same spot for a wall run that leads into a wall kick and a perfect springboard off a enemy. It's extremely satisfying to pull those moves off.
Alot of weapons to choose from. Just in case you get tired of unlimited ammo on your pistols you can burn through limited supply of shogun , SMG or exploding crossbow ammo.
Game has a movie feel to it. It pretty much plays like a movie in certain spots and some recognizable actors have some voice spots in the game as well.
Overall its a 4/5 for me. Its a very fun and enjoyable game towards the end and what keeps it from not being great is some of the clumsy platforming and the inability to use your unlocked abilities and weapons on previous levels.
It takes a little to get a hold of it but once you learn the moves this becomes a freaking fun game!! Even if you fight a lot in the same manner it does not feel repetitive because of the envioroment around you Fast paced fights that goes along with the music (which is great and always changing), and the new enemies that keep coming!
The stages are cool too, going from town to the Highway, or to the parts where you get WET and everthing goes Red ala No More Heroes on Tiger mode!
I recommend this but only for good gamers! Non core gamers will get frustrated!
I also got it for 12 Bucks on Mint condition so there's nothing i can complain about it!
It has the Tarantino feel, the other reviews throw around, the Mechanics aren't Broken, but the variety of moves, though cool when executed in the environment one way, can defy physics in a stupid glitchy way in the next minute. Don't pay 'Full Price' for it - Either get it on discount or rent it. The Trophies are easy to achieve. You might enjoy it, but ya won't Brag about enjoying it - If you get my meaning.
