WH23X10030 Washing Machine Drain Pump

How to replace a WH23X10030 Washing Machine Drain Pump?

Prior to starting any repair, it is crucial that you disconnect the appliance from all power sources.

Start by inserting a putty knife beneath the main top and using it to release both of the spring clips that secure the front panel. Then, pull firmly on the front panel towards you and lift it up until it is removed from its place entirely. Disconnect the wire harness from your old drain pump. Then, loosen the clamp that is holding down both the inlet and outlet hoses before taking them off. Have a container or towel ready as some water may spill out of these hoses during this process. Unscrew the mounting plate and remove the old pump from its housing.

Ensure that the new WH23X10030 Drain Pump is firmly in place, attach the mounting plate, and secure it with screws. Subsequently, link both the inlet and outlet hoses to their designated ports on the pump unit before fastening them with clamps. Make sure the wire harness is connected. To re-position the front panel, adjust it so that its tabs fit snugly into the slots situated at the bottom of said panel. Afterward, line up and snap in place pins on the cabinet's front section with the holes found on your front panel.

You're now ready to plug in the power cord and ensure that your appliance is working optimally.
