CLIFFHANGER ENDING

Did not like the ending. The plot had a lot of twists that held my interests, but the switching back and forth in time detracted from the flow. Will not read any more of this series because I do not like cliffhangers that try to force purchase of next book.

The book is ok. Typical Willow Rose thriller. Dark and depressing. If you like her books, you will probably like this one. However, it ends in a huge cliffhanger with a partial conclusion to the story. I hate cliffhangers! That's why I'm giving this one star. I feel cheated when after reading a whole book, I have to read yet at least another one to get a conclusion. That is when I quit an author, as I am now doing with this one.

The first book was so good, I did not hesitate going for Book 2. This book has a continuous ending, and I avoid those. I also didn't like that Eva Rae found her sister and how she handled that, plus that the sister is a big star actress. Then when they finally find poor Tara, unconscious with a bomb planted inside her, near death, the fact that she picks her up to take her out, just doesn't fit. After all, she has three children to care for at home, depending on her, as their father has not been involved lately. Some things seemed over the hill to me. Disappointing and I haven't ordered Book3.

Wow! Another great story from Willow Rose! I couldn't put this down as I HAD to know what would happen next!

As usual with the author, she has real characters that are well developed, and the stories are full of twists and turns - you won't see the answer coming! Too, she based this story on an actual case - but she took the story and made it her own. One thing reading this, there is nail biting suspense as the criminal gets more audacious with his crimes... HOPING that he will be recognized for his work.

The author uses gut wrenching detail on the victims... what they had been put through at the hands of this sadist. If you are squeamish, just keep this in mind. However, I feel the details are indeed necessary to bring home how horrific the crimes were. She does use good taste in her depictions, and it really brings the horror home.

This is another great beginning to a new series, and I can't wait to read the next one! I was given an ARC, and I am freely sharing my opinion with you - and I bought a copy in support of the author. If you like realistic crime fiction, look no further!

What You Did is book 2 of the Eva Rae Thomas Mystery series. Three girls disappear after the high school prom and are eventually found dead. Eva Rae finds her lost sister who was kidnapped many years ago. When Eva Rae's daughter is kidnapped she realizes that the killer is exacting revenge on her. The ending is a cliffhanger which I absolutely hate as it seems to be a ploy to get you to buy the next book. I recommend this series because Willow Rose is one of my favorite authors.

I disliked the premise that a former GOV agent cannot seem to organize her own life. Seems like details and organization go hand in hand· Didn't like that in the first book but was willing to see if it got better in the next. It Didn't, Eva Rae
seemed just as clueless. She was too busy taking care of her friend's lives. Then the cliffhanger--I won't be buying the 3rd book!

She’s now helping the police.

Three girls have gone missing, so the cops are doing everything to try and find.
As readers, we get to hear what is happening to them. We just don’t know by whom..

Talk about a mystery! I was shocked at one point. Then disgusted. Then happy at the end with Eva Rae.
Now I start the third book!
