Otherwise, this is a beautiful piece. I worried that like some other WMF products that this item might be top heavy and topple over if left in a bowl or pot, but that is not the case in any pot I tested it in or in a cereal bowl (but it was a problem in a salad bowl --wider and shallower) but I can't imagine needing to use this tool in a salad bowl.
