This collection of essays originally published in the Canadian journal Worn is enough to restore hope to every fashion lover tired of the photoshopped, consumerist coverage that passes for fashion journalism in mainstream publications. These essays cover everything from the history of clothing to clothing as art form to the everyday self-expression achieved through simply dressing yourself. Fun, witty, smart, and perhaps a little bit subversive, I'm only sad that I didn't find out about Worn sooner.

Great book for followers of off-the-cuff fashion. It is really an art book with a focus on fashion. I am not one that follows trends, I like to cultivate my own style and I love this book!
