- [THE SAFEST SAW AROUND] The Jawsaw is the one and only chain saw with a fully protective guard. When not in use the blade retracts into the base. And because of that guard, this is the only chainsaw made for cutting directly on the ground. Leave the log right there on the pavement and get to work
- [CUTS THICK BRANCHES] Saw through material up to 4 inches in diameter. And with its innovative single action cutting mechanism, you’ve never had so much easy to use cutting power
- [THE CHAIN STAYS TIGHT] Auto-tension feature guarantees optimum tension at all times. This patented system ensures you’ll always have the most efficient cut
- [THE CHAIN STAYS OILED] Features an automatic chain oiler with oil level indicator, which extends the life of the saw, the blade, the chain, and makes smoother cuts
- [DO IT ALL WITH THE SAME BATTERY] Do it all with WORX PowerShare, the only cordless tool platform that uses the same battery to power 20V and 40V tools
- [LIGHT ENOUGH TO USE OVERHEAD] The Worx Jawsaw weighs 7.1 lbs. without the battery attached. Not only is that light for a chainsaw – the even weight distribution and safety jaw guard bolster the tool and make it easy to maneuver around overhead branches
- [FAST ENOUGH TO GET IT DONE] The no-load speed for the Jawsaw is 1350 rpms, making it one of the fastest in its class. You’ll appreciate the speed when you start making smooth, even cuts

The WORX WG320 Max Lithium Cordless JawSaw has all the features of the standard JawSaw plus cordless convenience. Powered by our 20-volt Max lithium battery, the JawSaw is now free of cords and portable. This cordless JawSaw is the lightweight, portable, and safe way to tackle pruning and trimming jobs around the house, camping, or after storm damage. No pull starting; no more gas/oil mixes; no more exhaust smells; safer, and no more tangled cords. The 20-volt MAX lithium battery technology resists self-discharge for much longer periods of time, and it has the ability to perform a quick partial charge without worrying about “memory effect” damaging your battery. The LithiumPower battery is lighter in weight and more compact. The JawSaw features an auto-tensioning which guarantees optimum tension on the chain, along with an automatic oiler with level indicator to keep chain maintenance and performance at its peak.

My only reason for the 4 stars is that the charger is a bit of a joke. You can not leave it on your battery, it must be disconnected after the battery is charged. This charging also takes quite a while. This is really lame on Worx's part. The pack most likely contains the balance circuitry that is needed to quickly and safely charge a LiIon pack like this. I have 4 different LiIon power tool sets and this is the only one that came with a dumb charger and it's not like this is a budget unit. The 40V Poulain Pro pole saw is a bigger device with twice the battery cells and it comes with a rapid charger. It costs less. Worx should scrap this charger and give us a proper rapid charger we can keep in the garage. Now I charge in the den so I notice the light turns green. Who wants to worry about that?
adjust the chain because it will slip off from time to time or may get caught under compression of the weight of the tree. I believe they made it
primarily for branches. The mini chain saw comes out and cuts side to side when you push on the handle. I will post a photo later.
The most frequent complaint in the negative reviews seems to be the saw chain coming off. You should know that not everyone has that problem. I live in a forest. Clearing trees and branches is a regular part of our lives. My JawSaw has performed well for three months with about 2-4 hours of use per week. We have made hundreds of cuts and the chain has not come off when I was using it.
Then I let a friend (who has no experience with chainsaws) try it. I noticed he changed the angle of the saw while making his cut and positioned the saw so the wood closed on the bar. The saw chain came off. Looked like a safety feature to me. If you have experience using a chainsaw, you know it is best not to change the angle of the saw while making your cut and to avoid letting the wood close on the bar. If you don't have experience using a chainsaw you, might consider getting someone to help you before using a chainsaw or a JawSaw (or writing a review).
After a brief lesson, my friend made another 30 cuts and never made the chain come off again. That is the only time the chain ever came off our saw and it took less than two minutes to put it back on.
Will it cut?
The JawSaw chain rotates slower than a gas chain saw so it cuts slower. That said, it also cuts any kind of wood we throw at it. We have mostly hardwoods: oak, cherry, maple, hickory, Ironwood and Osage orange (Hedge Apple). The JawSaw cuts them all. It also stays sharp much longer than a typical chainsaw because the housing keeps the cutting edge out of the dirt and because it cuts slower.
I have several different kinds of power tools and the different batteries do vary in important ways. The WORX batteries are good. Compared to other brands, they deliver good power for a better than average duration.
The tiny little charger that comes with the WORX tool sets is a good candidate for the trash. If you are comfortable waiting for 12-18 hours for a single charge you may like it. I used that twinkie charger once and immediately ordered WORX WA3835 25-min Quick Charger. I have two small (2 Amp/hr) WORX batteries. I find that each battery lasts about as long as it takes to charge the other one so with two batteries and that fast charger I can work continuously.
My original JawSaw worked fine for three months, then it simply stopped. I phoned WORX customer service and they immediately shipped me a new one. They required me to pay $14 shipping but they paid shipping on the return. They reminded me that their warranty lasts three years (if you register the product). I found WORX warranty team to be polite and helpful.
Ease of use/safety
My wife and son, who are not even slightly comfortable with a chain saw, can work safely with the JawSaw without difficulty.
Does it do everything?
No. But, used as intended. it does a good job of what it was designed to do: cut limbs and small trees under 4 inches in diameter, slowly and safely.
Summary: I would buy this product again. I would recommend it to a friend.
Problems with Worx systems:
Insufficient power to perform as described:
1- turbo nozzle - only fine stream - about 1 square inch - too small an area to be useful
2 - hydrojet insufficient power to clean deck more than 1 square inch at a time & out of power
after only 1 square yard with 2 amp hour battery.
3 - JawSaw stopped part way through 2" branch and had to release and restart to cut through.
4 - JawSaw required significant extra effort to close blade past half way point.
5 - extension not useful due to virtually ALL weight at saw blade end AND must pull handles together while holding elevated - requires great strength to position and operate.
