I recently purchased this blower and I’m very happy with its ease of use and power. The blower is easy to start using and the batteries lasts a long time. I have a very large deck and I was able to complete cleaning it very quickly due to the blower’s power. I have other WORX tools and I’ve been very pleased with all of them. I really like the way I can use the batteries on any of the tools I have. It’s very convenient especially if I have a large job and need an extended battery life. I can share the bateeries

I was excited to get this battery operated blower, anticipating I would use it more often because of it’s ease of use. It is easy to use and therefore I am more likely to use it than my gas powered. That’s about where the positive stops. Now, I didn’t expect it to be near as powerful as a gas unit and trust me it’s not. It has 3 settings and turbo. Settings 1 and 2 good for sweeping. Turbo pretty powerful, but uses a lot of battery. Doing light to medium work I get about 20-30min out of the unit.
It’s good for light to medium duty.

I've always been skeptical of battery operated landscaping equipment. However, after trying out the WG584 blower, I realize it is possible to design a product that is light and also powerful. The dual battery design and placement, gives the blower and very well balanced feel. The "boost" button instantly delivers increase power. The led indicator for battery life while operating the unit it a nice feature that did not go unnoticed!

The blower is very light and maneuverable. It is almost as powerful as the electric blower I was using. It will blow wet leaves off the sidewalk and even move leaves through the grass. Because it is battery powered it is very quick to use. I find I use it much more frequently and keep my property up much better because of the ease of use. I blew out a garage, drive way, walks, flower beds and a screened-in porch and only used about 1/3 of the batteries (40V unit uses two batteries). I'll never go back to electric.

I should be running it after the battery is fully charged to know how long it will Last?
Then I will consider the overall functionality.

Defective variable speed control switch (includes on/off) or it's design. It's very tiny and just sticks in place. Have to take the glove off and push it very hard in order to turn.
As a tool worked OK as a leaf blower. It's a bare minimum to use it a snow DUST blower (have to push turbo button a lot), but the hard to use switch defeats the purpose. Paid $178 for a bare tool. Returned it.
