First off, I just want to say that I love the whole Attitude Era aspect of this game. Just the fact that players can recreate some of the biggest matches in WWE history is awesome. As a side note, I was at the King of the Ring when Undertaker threw Mankind off of the Cell, and let me just say, it was so much fun to recreate it fully in the game.

WWE 13 has a lot of good things going for it, and this review will accent some of the finer points, as well as the not so finer points.

Gameplay: Gameplay for the most part remains the same, one button to hit, one to grapple, one to irish whip and one to block. This time around, there are three modes of play: Exhibition, Universe and Attitude Era.
Exhibition is more exciting with the re-adding of Special Referee and I Quit matches, neither have been seen for a bunch of games.
Universe has expanded for the Wii, and probably the other systems as well. Players have complete freedom to place shows for any day of the week. Case in point, I made a show on Saturdays that just feature the Attitude Era wrestlers, as well as their monthly pay per view (adding these to the calendar is needed to unlock one of the hidden wrestlers).
Attitude Era gives players the chance to relive some of the greatest moments during the Monday Night Wars, from the birth of DX to Stone Cold's wrestlemania wins to the two Survivor Series Screwjobs (Bret Hart and Mankind, respectively). Players are given the choices for how to complete the matches. They can either beat the matches their own way, or they can follow a set of historical objectives, which harkens back to the Legends of Wrestlemania Game, to unlock new characters, new arenas and new belts. This incentive makes Attitude Era a little more difficult.

This item was a XMAS gift for my son because he loves the WWE and it was on his list. It was delivered before I could think about when it was coming, a couple of days after I ordered it! It was packaged for damage control which made the delivery safe. My son can't stop playing it and keeps thanking Santa for the great present, he's Nine years old.

Thanks for making his holiday great.

This was a Christmas gift for my 10 year-old son. He owns every WWE game from 2008 up. He was waiting for WWE 13 for a long time. At first he thought is was challenging. It was somewhat different than WWE 12, which was to be expected. He has had it for three days now and is getting used to it and is unlocking different wrestlers. He tells me the graphics are better than WWE 12 and there are several Wrestlemania's to tackle. He is enjoying the game and has been playing it everyday. I would say it's a hit!

Both of my sons really enjoy this game and play it for long periods of time (when allowed!). They had the 2009 version and played it to death and say this one has a lot more choices and features regarding the types of wrestlers, moves and fights that can be done.

I bought this fully expecting it to be complete garbage. I had previously payed SVR 08 and Impact on my Wii machine and those games were trash. But WWE 13 for the Wii is pretty good. Not mind blowing, not game changing but pretty good. Had a lot of fun going through the Attitude era mode and was pleasantly surprised to see that Universe Mode is in this version. I thought it wouldn't be but that's mostly my hatred for the Wii stepping through the shining light. Models were good Wii gameplay is slightly tweaked because of the limitations of the Nintendo controllers (Can't push in sticks on Classic Pro, Only one shoulder button on Gamecube pad and the Wiimote isn't an actual controller.) But it feels good. Obviously an effort was made to make this more then a severely downgraded port of a PS3/360 game. Had a blast with this game despite being filled to the brim with glitches and slowdown that DOESN'T MAKE SENSE WHEN THERE'S NOTHING HAPPENING ON SCREEN. Decent wrestling game awful quality control. Par for the course for the WWE games at this point.

My son really wanted this for his birthday so i gulped and spent the $70. While he likes it, the graphics are bad. Like really bad and somewhat cheesy and glitchy. For a 2013 wii game, it should be much better.

My 9 year old loves this game and so does anyone that seems to play it, adults and kids alike. It's even pretty hilarious to watch as people play it. Even the wrestlers are entertaining to watch as they come in and out of the ring. The more a wrestlers gets pounced on the slower he is to recover. You'll see them hold their heads as they move around the ring, so you can tell which one's are weaker. The more you play the game and are able to win matches, the more wrestlers you unlock. There are several types of games you can play, whether it be single player or multi-player. Since this is wrestling, there is violence to the game where they are beating each other up and trying to break each other. Literally.
