I have read a few graphic novels before and comics and found the layout of the book easy to follow and easy to read. The story is set around Triple H who is an immortal who has waged an endless battle with Josiah, another immortal. All the action takes place at Wrestlemania where the evil side takes over and turns many familiar faces before they are saved by Triple H.
I have to say that when it looked like superstars had been killed I was a little surprised. Then to have them brought back on the side of Josiah was a stroke of genius. The fact they were saved by Triple H was a great section in the novel.
It was really good to see the superstars in a different way. I really enjoyed the storyline. The drawings were brilliant, you could really work out who was who, which sometimes you can't in graphic novels. I loved the fact that Triple H was the good guy who helped the superstars win in the end.
I think there are other books in the WWE: Heroes graphic novel series and I fully intend to get more of them.
I would give WWE Heroes: Rise Of The Firstborn 4/5.
