I ordered this pen when I received a gift of BAMBOO CRAFT PEN & TOUCH set and the pen included in that set did not work properly. Apparently it was a refurbished one and the pen did not work. I opened the pen and found mother board was broken and unable to repair. That is why I ordered a new pen separately from AMAZON.

When I ordered this pen, Amazon sent me the right one promptly and it worked as it supposed to. I was satisfied with this purchasing experience.

I have a new Samsung ATIV tablet which uses Wacom digitizing. It came with a tiny stylus and it also works with the old Wacom-style stylus that came with my ancient Lenovo Thinkpad X41 convertible notebook computer, so I know it's somehow Wacom style. But this stylus didn't work for it. I assume the stylus is fine, so I'm not taking off any stars, but I was disappointed that it was the wrong one. I'm not sure how to tell what the right kind of stylus is for my tablet.

needed a pen replacement after losing it, needed it for my photo editing assignments right away, couldnt stand using a clicking mouse longer than a day. Cant believe best buy or any other stores didnt sell the pen seprate. Had to buy it on here so in the meantime I bought the entire Pen & touch set just to use the pen. After I receieve my pen from my online order, Ill return the package to best buy and save about 50bucks..

The pen is ok. i've been using wacom products for a long time now, i have been using Intuos 3, and now i have a Intuos 4. But in the office they got this Bamboo tablet and the pen was stolen or lost, that's why i needed a replacement.

The pen is perfect, works great and its the same that the one that came with the original tablet. What i dont like is that is to light, compared with the intuos that is much heavier.

All in all is a great product and good quality.
And it's quite complicated to get, if you dont get it here, you have to contact Wacom directly to order one.

Nothing wrong with the pen itself but it doesn't with with the 2 tablets that I own. The description wasn't clear about which models will work and which models wouldn't. Very disappointed because I am overseas and cannot deal with returns and stuff. =(. The last replacement pen that brought from Amazon called the "Bamboo Fun Pen Black" worked just fine but it is not available anymore: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000XQK2OU/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The original pen to my Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet(CTH-661) had fallen out of my laptop bag and I was unable to find it. The only choice I had left was get a replacement. I was nervous whether it would work when it arrived. My tablet acknowledged the pen right away. Didn't have to fiddle with the tablet settings to make it work properly. It worked right out of the box. It feels a bit different in my hand than the original, nothing bad though.

This item is way too expensive, considering a new tablet (with pen) is around $100. Wacom knows their pens will fail before the tablet does, so consumers will be forced to buy replacements. Unfortunately there are no generics and you must buy the pen that is associated to your model if you want to ensure usability, because each pen has a micro-chip circuit inside of it.

The quality of the pen is identical to the one the unit came with. Unfortunately this means one drop on the wrong end and you are back to square one. These pens need to be more durable, or at the very least have a way to attach it with a cord to the tablet. They are too easy to lose or break.

Overall the pen is a fair product and the tablet was a great art investment. It is unfortunate that they take advantage of consumers. If/When the tablet breaks I will look into other competitors who provide more affordable replacement parts.

I had a sore shoulder and the ergonomics team recommended that I try a pen tablet instead of a traditional mouse. It took me a few weeks to get used to it but in a very short time the pain went away and i have been very happy with it! One issue is that the pen looks too much like a real pen and I ended up losing mine. This replacement pen connected immediately and needed no set up. Perfect technology. Love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does exactly what it should
Reviewed in Canada on December 10, 2013
Using this pen with the intended Bamboo tablet peripheral, it has done exactly what it was supposed to do.

Accurate and precise tracking of pen movements, two programmable buttons, an eraser that works as a second stylus, or an actual eraser when using the appropriate program. Feels comfortable to use.

Only problem encountered so far is some programs do not register pen movements within 1-2 cm of where the pen initially touches down. This does not happen with all programs (this does not happen in MS Paint, for instance), so this is likely a software problem, and not anything wrong with the pen itself in any way.

Overall: Great. Exactly what I expected/wanted.

J'avais perdu mon stylet lors d'un déménagement et j'ai pris celui ci. C'est un vrai wacom et 100% fonctionnel !
Qui plus est, c'est toujours bien pratique d'avoir des mises de rechange car elles s'usent !

5.0 out of 5 stars Pen...

Its a tablet pen, works as its supposed to and has an eraser with it which is the blunt end oppose the nib. Lots of fun to use. But if you have the money to spend, get an Intuos pro since it has twice the sensitivity and its far more programmable. If this is just for school and not drawing or anything, the tablet this is compatible with is fine for you.

My daughter is into graphics but not only uses it for that, she also uses it instead of a mouse for navigation... so it gets a LOT of use and it still works fine.
