The Mini Stepper Master is designed to be used. Supporting up to 225 pounds, everything from the gas shocks, steel rods, step pads, and lightweight steel frame are made to be durable, flexible, and last years of daily use.

Wagan Healthmate Mini Stepper
The Wagan Healthmate Mini Stepper has a compact and sleek build that makes good use of space, and serves its minimal structural design well. It has a lightweight solid metal frame which lends to incredible durability, superb stability, and adds years to its lifespan.
Adjustable Step Height
Paying homage to it's universal usability is the ability to adjust the step height of the pedals. For those with a limited range, the step height (travel) can easily be adjusted with a turn of a knob. ..that's it! Turn the knob again, and the pedals can increase their travel distance.
Benefit of Regular Exercise
A regular exercise program can help improve the quality of your life, give you more energy, and combat the effects of aging. Research has shown that 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise combined with weight lifting just 3 to 4 times per week can help deliver health benefits.
Great for All Ages
The Mini Stepper can match any skill level. It is a great way for kids to expend excess energy and can assist the elderly in keeping active. For those more active users, the Mini Stepper can be a great way to get in a little workout in your spare time.

It's small -our house is small -and it's quiet so it seemed like a really good idea. It's pretty heavy and for the price, I'm happy with it. This is not going to work like a home gym model, so if you're not looking into spending a lot of money or need something that is small, this might be something worth checking out.
IF YOU HAVE BAD OR WEAK KNEES DON'T USE A STAIR STEPPER. The repetitive stress on them will only make things worse!!! I don't have bad knees and climb stairs 4 days of the week and this has actually helped my stamina regarding stair climbing in real life.
I'll definitely update if this is something that malfunctions or breaks. So far, so good, and I did hear some light squeaking but I gave it a shot of WD-40 and its been quiet again.
I can read my Kindle or watch TV while using the stepper, although this would be easier if there was some kind of book stand on it. I love its ability to show how far you have gone or how long you have been working at it. Often have to have a timer so that I don't overdo it (as you don't realize how much you are doing, at least after used to it). The tension on this stepper ranges from very little to a LOT. I'm not at the LOT end.
So looking an efficient exercise equipment that takes little room?, definitely look at this one. You won't be disappointed.
UPDATE November 7, 2014:
This week I took the stepper's instruction booklet (the stepper is light but not THAT light) to my new physical therapist. She was quite impressed with it, especially after I mentioned some of its functions -- things like maneuverability, electronic displays, etc., etc. And it is HARD to impress physical therapists.
One thing which I forgot to mention in my earlier review are the handlebars. For those with severe balance problems I would NOT recommend it. But for those with little to mild balance problems I WOULD recommend it as I am in that grouping. The physical therapist was also impressed with that feature. I still wish that the manufacturer would offer an add on book holder.
I way about 190lbs and used the product about 3x/week.
It completely failed when the u-bolt pushed completely through the center bar/pole. So I used the product ~50x and now it will be thrown in the trash, because it failed in a way that is beyond repair.
Its just bad engineering as you can see that someone didn't calculate the force that would be applied to the backside of the center bar/pole.
I liked the product, but found that its materials were of extremely poor/cheap quality. I will not buy any more Wagan Tech products.
