For serious DIYers, handymen, property managers or part-time contractors who require the capacity and performance for spraying, this unit works indoors and out, spraying latex, sealers, oil-based paints, and stains on siding, fences, metal, stucco and more. The unit is light enough for easy transport around large worksites and features a rugged cart. The painter runs off standard 15 amp household current. Its spray gun is equipped with a full-size, in-line paint filter for smooth paint jobs and easy cleaning. The unit's 1/4-Inch, 25-foot airless spray hose is equipped with an abrasion resistant polyurethane cover and seamless thermoplastic inner tube for optimal durability. The unit sprays up to .25 gallons per minute, putting out a maximum of 2,800 psi for larger jobs. Plenty durable for those jobsite bumps and scrapes, this twin-stroke, airless painter also features a die cast aluminum housing for optimal durability. Other features includes a QuickFlo pusher valve for quick and easy priming every time, electric pressure control for adjustable pressure settings, couble acting piston for contractor style pump action. Unit is lightweight and has a carry handle for easy transport. The VersaTip is reversible for more usable material and fewer spits and swivels for a better user experience.

Used this paint sprayer to paint my house last summer. Really did a good job but is hard to clean up. Have to spend at least an hour cleaning it. Only used latex paint in it and could not imagine attempting to clean it if you used lacquer products in it. But for painting a house it is great.

Wagner has very poor customer service for repair parts.

I have a Wagner Paint Crew model 770 and it stopped working. There are two bad parts (an on/off switch and a leaf spring for the impeller) but neither Wagner nor any of their repair sites will sell me the needed parts. I am forced to scrap the airless painter because the manufacturer will not support its own products by stocking parts for its customers. While the products work they are good, when they break down there is not any way to repair them.

Out of the box, the first time it was used, the sprayer leaked out of the spray handle base and from inside the compressor where the pressure adjustment wheel is. Found that a gasket on the spray handle was defective and caused the leak. Leak stopped on its own from inside the compressor.... I read a lot about the Wagner, and was impressed. However, not so much now. After I fixed the seal, the unit did not leak anymore. Wagner needs to do more quality checks on their products. I likely won't ever buy ant Wagner spray products nor recommend them to anyone.
