You can use the Wahoo app to track your ride and then have it uploaded to Strava, but this means you'd miss out on some of the premium features of Strava that you only get in-app and the Wahoo app is fairly horrible.
Overall, the cadence sensor does what it's supposed to do, but I need not have bought the speed sensor since it is entirely pointless to me as someone who uses these exclusively with Strava connected via Bluetooth on my Android.
Map My Fitness support replied back the next day that only one sensor at a time can be connected.
Don't waste money on both unless you're dedicated to using Wahoo's less than ideal training app.
Now the conundrum of figuring out which app I prefer. Suggestions welcome.
Four stars for the sensors, they work well, paired with my phone easy and I am not tech savvy for that was a plus. I LOVE the large numbers on the display when I am working out. I need reading glasses to read much of what is on my phone so I really like the large display. So far good product.
I tried brand new batteries with the same result.
I will be requesting a refund.
When Speed and Cadence sensor should link to the Wahoo Fitness app within a few pedal strokes.
I am sorry I purchased the Ticker and the Cadence and Speed sensors.
So far, appears to be working. Will be back shortly to see after exercise ride........

There's no doubting that before the failure I was absolutely delighted with the performance of both sensors. Easy to install and worked a dream with the Sufferfest app.
I was really annoyed to find the speed sensor conked out after two short rides. I thought ok, not the end of the world, it might just be the battery. I still don't know if that's the case as I couldn't remove the cover. Despite following the instructions, all that happened was the flimsy plastic was damaged. So badly that I gave up.
There's no way I'd buy these again. I've sent them back for a refund and bought Garmin instead.
Out of the box they look good. The rubber housings are nice, and very easy to fit to the bike with the stretchy fixing bands and cable ties. I downloaded the Wahoo Fitness app and the units paired with it immediately. The speed and distance readings were very close to the bike computer (which I had left in situ for comparison). I also manually counted my cadence against a stopwatch, and that was also accurate.
I cannot comment on their longevity as I have only used them a dozen times. I have not used them outdoors and don't intend to.
Up to now, full marks and highly recommended.
I then tried it to attach it to the peddle crank and this seems to work. So, my advice is that it works on the peddle crank arm only and worth it if you are happy with that. It's a generally recommended way to use cadence devices anyway but if you were thinking of putting on your shoe good luck.
These devices also work with Bluetooth apps on iphone (unlike Garmin kit which is limited to ant+ only).
Purchased this to go with my forthcoming Hammerhead Karoo computer (which supports both formats and all current transponders).
