I've never laughed so hard or so long... and been so angry afterwards. Hood's prose style is devastating but his point is critically important. America was founded upon false premises and things are being taken to their logical conclusion. European-Americans, the core group of the country and the one group who keeps everything going, are basically being sold out by their own government. Yet they keep supporting the country basically out of nostalgia.

Hood goes into the critical distinction everyone needs to understand when it comes to the United States. The country was founded on egalitarian principles. At the same time, it was actually built by a European-American population whose entire past is now characterized as racist, imperialist, and evil. The result is we have a country that is essentially schizophrenic. No wonder our culture seems so incredibly unhinged. The Left can't decide whether America was always evil or whether it is the vanguard of some global fight for equality.

This is a passionate and well written call for European-Americans to stop cucking and get off their knees. Definitely worth the read.

As a foreigner (And certainly not a White person. Half-Chinese and Half-Filipino), reading through this book helped me in understanding the importance of the people who actually made a society into what it is, while also understanding another dimension as to America's decline.

The notion that the starting premise of America was flawed from the get-go, as it was based on a mixture of lies and wishful thinking has ultimately proven correct, as the current immigration disaster changed the country into something far different from what it was intended to be. For the nation is not the constitution or some bit of wishful thinking. It is the people, whose culture and traditions express the character of those people. Something that can be lost through licentious hedonism, a breakdown in social mores and tradition, and immigration of hostile foreigners, who will attempt to replace the native culture with their own.

The importance this holds for foreigners is the fact that this kind of dispossession may very well be coming to our own doorsteps in the coming years. It already has in a number of places like Africa and South America. It certainly is happening now in Europe. And Asia has been wary of the globalist's demonic hand for decades. And only by standing in the truth can we expect to combat this soulless, destructive leviathan. By laying out some of the fundamental flaws of the American founding, while proposing a solution based on something true, natural, and good, others can learn from the rising White Resistance important lessons that can be used to reject the globalist's vile agenda and secure an existence for our peoples and a future for our children. And while it would be important to remember the importance of religion, culture, tradition, sound government, and hierarchy, all of this must start from somewhere. That comes from an understanding of the people, by way of natural law and order. Of which, the starting point is biology, where race is an important, if not the most important, factor to begin with. (And if anyone want to play the Gotcha' Brigade on the religion part, do understand that mostly Black Churches, mostly White Churches, and mostly Arab Churches, though of the same Christian religion, will inevitably manifest the faith differently. Which shows the indelible effect that a people can have on the way a religion manifests).

I'm just judging this book on Hood's writing style and his overall direction since this is a collection of articles. I don't think there is a better writer on the alt-right. Some of Richard Spencer's essays come close, especially the transcripts of his recent speeches, but none surpass the power of Hood's writing. When he combines humor and tragedy he's at his absolute best, and most of this collection has both. His strength lies in his unflinching honesty which is a refreshing wakeup after being overwhelmed by empty rhetoric from the main stream Right for decades. Gregory Hood knows we are living in the age of mediocrity and he's not afraid to expose it for all to see. There is no "shining city on a hill" BS to be found here. Hood is only interested in telling the truth about The System.

This is a great book. "It's about the loss of faith in both spiritual and political authorities. And it's about being dragged kicking and screaming into accepting a worldview I'd rather avoid. But the truth is truth. And reality cannot be denied, no matter how badly we wish it would go away." Take the red pill and embrace reality. Truth is better than lies. There's no going back.

An excellent volume of essays by one of America's most honest editorial authors, who writes incisively about current issues with clarity, and encumbered by the mass media mind-numbing One-World agenda.

If you're looking for a digestible introductory book to the ideas commonly called Alt Right, this is it. It's punchy, short, straightforward, and represents what this movement is about extremely well. A lot of our material is odorous to people who have bought into society's conditioning heavily and aren't thinking critically yet. (This sort of stuff can cause their ears and eyes to automatically shut down.) But this book is something I'd feel pretty comfortable giving to a friend who had become disillusioned with Conservatism, Inc. Just a tremendous introduction to the Alt Right's core critiques of America and those that claim to defend it.

As a middle of the road thinker this book is very captivating. I believe the author is on the money for the future?
