Hey give it some time the game doesn't release until March 31, 2011 . Amazon usually matches or beats w/e Wal-Mart has. At least some sort of download material... I've preordered several titles from Amazon and they always come through with some sort of goodies
This "Walmart has $10 credit. Uh . . . Amazon, you want to do something about this? Or do you want to lose my business?" attitude.
Just like in the Killzone 3 thread, you're all gonna be back saying, "*Cancels Walmart Pre-order* - Re-ordering with Amazon. Thanks Amazon you did it!" when they add that $20 credit later on. And I laugh at them all and their impatience.
Agree with Brisco entirely. One, you aren't going to blow the foundations of Amazon because you bought a videogame at another store. You're paying nearly ten dollars in tax (varies between states, it's around $8.75 in my area), and Amazon will nearly always add the $10 closer to release, and sometimes even up it to $15 meaning those who had it preordered already get $25, not to mention the (assuming you're not one of the unlucky states who have to pay it) lack of tax.
And by the way, Amazon doesn't have access to the Abandoned maps. What, did you really think that all of their employees are sitting around with a bunch of downloads for the map and just hanging on to them to play? Gamestop pays money/signs a deal with the publishers, in return it brings in more customers but not so much if you can get it anywhere. Just use your head a bit before your post, lest you come off looking like a spoiled child.
