I really enjoyed reading this novel from the beginning to the end. It is an amazing discussion between the character and Almighty God. It reminds me of the moments in which I connect to Almighty God and share all my problems without any editing or hidden. In reality, we all connect to Almighty God with or without consciousness in our life. In tough moments of our life, we connect to the power and mercy of Almighty God to seek help and solution for our problems but this connection should not limit to our tough times thus why I need to connect with him all the time and feel the presence of his mercy and blessings. I really enjoyed reading this book and I recommend it for others to read it once. Thanks to Dr. Ray Faulkenberry to share this amazing spiritual incident of his life with us.

A Walk in the Park with God gives an incredibly personal and unique perspective to the idea of God. In this novel God is presented to the main character as the main character would expect God to appear, outlining the idea that God can take many different forms for anyone. The book, which is essentially a multi-part conversation between the character and God, does not illustrate God as an all powerful deity of creation, but rather as a universal figurehead which embodies the idea of both subjectivity and objectivity who understands both the world and the individual.

I actually liked reading this book. I think I liked the book as much as I did because the author kept it 100 percent honest and real, even language. I also liked the perspective it was written in and did not feel like it was trying to persuade someone one way or another. The way the author added good times and bad times throughout the book helped me connect more because the realism of it. By included both good and bad times you could see the growth being achieved from things discussed with God. I felt it reminded me to take a step back and reflect not only on my self but also my spiritual connections.

I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to close friends. It was interesting seeing a different way of how God acted in this book, he was still a wise person but had a sense of humor and also used profanity. The way how God acted in the book really drew me in wanting to keep reading due to being able to understand him more. The book was well executed as a Catholic I thought I would somehow feel offended with the way God was shown but It immediately changed all of my views as I kept reading it.

While reading the book it just felt like a casual conversation between the author and God. Just the way our curious human nature can sometimes contradict us is also affect by our said creator God. It was refreshing to see that it wasnt your typical 'God is this almighty being that you must respect', he's also human in the sense that he does care but doesnt mind letting you go out and explore. Plus the fact the author makes him so human like, also made the topics talked about worth reading about.

This book was a great read and truly help's one to self reflect and look through their inner self. There are a lot of great topics spoken between the main character and God. However, it is not the God you may think. This God is not the super religious type. He has a sense of humor, likes to cuss, and truly speak his mind and offer great advice. I have never read a book like this, and I'm glad I did, because my mind was expanded more than I thought it would be . I would 10/10 recommend this book to anyone.

The writing really makes me feel like someone eaves dropping on a private conversation and the details really help with the immersion. I found myself highlighting multiple little lessons to keep in mind on my own journey.

An enjoyable book that was engaging, personal, and deep. It was a relatable page turner that offers healthy ways of self-actualizing. It was entertaining to see how honest the author was with himself and feel like you were occupying his mind for a moment in time.
