Fantastic Value from AMAZON

This is my second QR 350. I bought it to get back in the air quick while repairing my first QR 350 from crashing into a tree. Mine was bought as "reconditioned" (returned item?) but it looks like new to me! Great Quad. Easy to fly. The GPS picks up lots of stations and the "Return Home" feature is amazing. I don't know how much wind the "hold in place" feature will compensate for but it's more wind than I could compensate for on the TX sticks. You can engage "hold" and then just over ride it with the TX sticks. VERY STABLE when flown this way. One word of caution; don't stand under a tree when you take off and then engage "return" while flying at a higher altitude. It will fly home and right into that tree branch above you!

I've never used a Walkera TX before and it's fine too. I have the Walkera DEVO 7 and it compares favorably with my SPEKTRUM DX6i. I'm already using ithe DIVO 7 for another Walkera helicopter. Like any other programmable TX you do have to read the instructions and spend some time learing the programing sequence.

does not have gps hold ioc or return to home funtion unless you have the RTF version remote

unless you already bought the RTF version of this quad, you will not be able to use the gps/altitude hold, IOC and return to home feature.
I have the devo7 remote that comes with the bind and fly version, but Walkera does not offer the parameter file required to run the switches on the remote. they have the v1.3 file required to run the quad without flyaway problems and short flight issues (a separate $20 usb wire is required to update, and update is required). soooo.... until I can find someone who has an qr-x350 devo7 remote that hasn't changed their settings that will let me copy the settings the quad is useless.

The drone comes in molded plastic with sections for each piece. There are two empty places in the packaging which clearly was designed to hold something. There is no charger or remote included. It is just the drone.

We ordered a duplicate drone hoping the charger or remote would be included this time, but still to no avail. Perhaps that is clear in the description, but what is NOT clear is how to fly it without a way to charge it or a device to guide it.

Warning Please Read Before Someone Gets Hurt

I have many quads and I am an experienced RC pilot. I bought the first 350 a few days ago from Amazon. Everything was set up correctly including compass. Upon launch, aircraft hovered nicely and then made a full right aileron move that could not be corrected left with the Tx and hard landed (Finally broken). It did that each of the three times I flew, even after insuring the Tx was setup correctly and reviewing manual. Today, the replacement 350 flew well a couple of times and then simply went into full throttle and Tx had no control. After trying everything, I hit the emergency throttle cut button and the 350 came down from 400+ feet into an office complex 1/3 mile away and 50 yards from busy 6 lane city road. No parked cars were hit. This is one very dangerous quad that puts people at risk and you as a prospective owner.

Looks fun but....I wouldn't know

My Wife bought this one for a Christmas present to me...based on the link I sent to her which was based on various reviews I've seen suggesting its a good buy for the money. After reading these comments I realize that the manufacturer has a quality control issue with this particular product or atleast that's what I'm assuming. We also received the drone without a controller and battery charger. Empty compartments without key items. Nowhere on Amazon or on the materials received did it say, suggest or otherwise imply that this model does not include these NECESSARY items. Either one of two things is going on....either I've received the exact same one as the other feedbacks mentioned...passing around your returned drone less a controller and charger (which wouldn't surprise me as luck goes) or the manufacturer has issues with out going product. Either way I'm not flying a drone around the neighborhood or parks as I had hoped. I'll give it two stars because of how Amazon handled the return, Christmas morning, and because we've been prime customers for a few years and have been very satisfied with Amazon.

Flight times not as advertised

Using several different 2200 mAh Lipo 3s batterys am getting 7 minute flight times and that's pushing it. Manufacturer states 10-15 minute flight times. FAIL!
