**SPOILERS**
First of all, I loved Beautiful Disaster...read it in one sitting, then reread my favorite parts many times. So, I was honestly excited to hear the story from Travis's perspective. That being said, with the exception of a few passages, I found this book very boring since I've already read it -- in the better form of Beautiful Disaster.

The good: We do get to hear more details about Travis's family, which was nice. We also get to learn about what Travis was thinking in Vegas fighting, and his feelings during the break-up after Vegas. For me, these were the only enlightening parts of the story, where we learn something new. And most importantly, we get a really sweet, if slightly disjointed, Epilogue. This was the best part of the book for me since it was original material, and even if I didn't think it necessarily made sense with the story, it was very cute.

The bad: The first book was very dialogue-driven, so this book is a ton of the same exact dialogue in the exact same order with absolutely nothing added. Thanks, but I don't need that. I already had a good idea what Travis was thinking based on Abby's interpretation of his feelings in BD. Therefore, this book was almost 80% pointless as far as I'm concerned (I've already read it!). Also, some of Travis's internal thoughts hurt the love story (I don't want to hear his thoughts that Abby is cranky or bitchy or how he thinks about the other women in the book). But what really ticked me off was when the parts I actually cared about hearing from Travis's perspective were left out! We don't get his feelings from when he first sees her, or his thoughts when she is attacked at the fight, or their wedding! All of these were skipped over.

When I first found out she was writing a male pov of beautiful disaster I was afraid it was going to be the same book just different thoughts. I was happy to see that the book follows the same timeline but is a whole other spin on beautiful disaster and it was AMAZING!!! I read it so fast the first time I had to re-read a second time and loved it even more! And Travis is by far the main fictional man in my life! His emotions were so real that the part when he returns to his dads house after thanksgiving I cried!!! This book gets 5 stars without a doubt from me!

I thought this book was just a retelling but boy was I wrong. It's more than that it shows Travis's battles and struggles to keep Abby. I've felt his pain and this whole dilemma has once again been re hashed from his point of view. I loved it and I appreciate the glimpse into their future, I hate wondering what was to become of them.

Walking disaster was the perfect insight to Travis! I loved his point of view. I fell more in love with him while learning why he loves so hard! I couldn't put it down. Another awesome book by Jamie Mcguire!!!

I was hesitant to read the same story from a different point of view. I thought it would be a waste of time since I had already read Beautiful Disaster and with so many other books out there, why spend my time with this one. Well, Jamie McGuire changed my mind regarding different POV books! I loved this book and may have enjoyed it more than the first book. It was well-written, heart-wrenching and beautiful! Thank you for bringing these characters to life once again! I will continue to be a fan!

Yes, Walking Disaster is basically Beautiful Disaster from Travis' POV. If you are expecting something different, then you probably won't enjoy it.

I'll admit to being a little disappointed because I was hoping to get to know Travis a little better, get in his head a little more. So, I took a star off because of that.

Aside from the prologue (which was beautifully written, and made me cry) and the epilogue, there wasn't any new material. It's Beautiful Disaster. And it was just as good the 2nd time around!

Walking Disaster is Beautiful Disaster from Travis' POV. There is a lot of the same dialogue from Beautiful Disaster in this book. If you're looking for something completely different from BD then this is not the book for you. I loved Travis in BD and I felt like I had a really good understanding of who Travis was and what he was feeling by reading through Abby's POV in BD. This book just gives you that extra something special with Travis. A beautiful prologue where you get to see more into Travis' childhood and an amazing Epilogue that puts you into the future years later. You also get some conversations between America and Travis and Shepley and Travis that you didn't get in BD. Overall, this was just the cherry on top. If you're a hardcore Travis lover, then you'll enjoy this.

So this book was the same as Beautiful Disaster just from Travis's point of view. I personally loved this version better. Even though I didn't learn anything new in the storyline overall,I did learn how Travis felt. The emotions he went through and how the story played out for him. The epilogue was amazing and I can't wait for there to be more books about all the Maddox boys..
