About the Author
I love books and in particular romantic fiction. I've been a fan ever since I discovered the genre in my early teens. With the advent of print-on-demand and e-books, I grasped an opportunity to live a dream and published my first work in 2012. What began as a hobby back then has become a full-time joy for me. I write romance because I love happy endings, and it's such a fulfilling feeling to make relationships end well every time. Walking in 2 Worlds: Logan's Story is the first book in the Convict to Christianity Series. I hope you'll be blessed as you read it. When I'm not writing, I'm spending time with family, walking, or reading a book. I love gospel and am partial to the song Break Every Chain because I feel like, in my life and in my writing journey, God has broken quite a few chains for me. Connect with me at www.brigettemanie.com. I love talking to readers. Blessings, Brigette

It’s the second book a I read from this author and It seems it’s always a pleasure. I like when you read something and you can relate to the character. This is happening to me almost in every book but this time it was very different because I was shifting my feelings between characters. At the beginning I saw myself in the place of mercia as she objects the felon presence. But later own I found myself relating more and more to the character of Logan the felon. I don’t’ know if it was the author intention but for me it was the lesson of the book – to see life from other person eyes.
The story is full of temptations, complex relationships, and surprises. It reminds the reader that the unexpected parts of life are often the best. As a vegan, I also really appreciate the main character’s diet choices. The ending is satisfying and offers hope for forgiveness, even for the most tragic mistakes. This book is a compelling, romantic, and thought-provoking read. There are also bits of humor thrown in that make it quite entertaining.
Five well-deserved stars. Highly recommended!!!
