After purchasing and returning 3 barriers, we finally found one that works!
Installed this barrier in our 2012 Honda CRV on the rear headrests. This is the best barrier for crossover SUV's! Because of the angle of the back seats other barriers that used the floor and ceiling took up cargo space that could provide more room for the dogs. In addition to no marks on my floor or headliner, there is no annoying rattle and it is extremely easy to take in and out if i want to put the rear seats down. Definitely worth the money for us!

Awesome. I have a new 4Runner. I wanted something that works with my setup to protect it as much as possible. I wanted to keep the dogs (Golden, Boxer, Doberman, Dane) from upfront with a sturdy barrier as they go with me most of the time. This one is Best! I should know. I was worried it would not be secure and strong. Ha! No problem. It is strong and sturdy, have tried them all, literally.

Have tried-- Highland Barrier- this one installs pressured from floor to ceiling. I took it out one day and there were indented circles on the roof. My new truck! I had to use steam to get them out. I tried Krunco NAC&ZAC SUV Pet Barrier- this one doesn't attach as pictured. It stretches to install over headrests but kept on popping off. I tried Solivt Front Seat Net Pet Barrier. It attaches to headrest bars. It is flimsy and kept trying to fold up like how it is stored. So - I have itried them all.

Pics are attached. FYI- it is crooked because the seats are different height and position. I said works best with my setup. In case you care, setup is Xmark XMat on bottom to make smooth over folded seats and to protect. On top of that I have water a water proof SUV Cargo Liner. Was trying to find Barrier to complete setup. Just when I was going give up, I found this!

A month of transporting multiple dogs... ours and fosters, all the dogs stayed where we wanted. They don't even try to force their way through. The guard was easy to install, won't damage the headliner, quiet, and fits real well in our 09 CX-9.

We were searching for a way to keep our 70lbs very active German Shepherd in the back of our Lexus RX350. After looking at many different products and reading tons of reviews we chose the Walky for the following reasons:

1.) it attaches to headrests rather than spring loaded design from floor to ceiling thereby eliminating the risk of damage to ceiling or floor of vehicle. Also I think this feature makes the barrier more secure thru bumps in the road and the dog cannot "accidentally" bump into it causing it to come crashing down.

2.) Easy installation and uninstall. While you could leave this in your vehicle at all times as it does not obstruct your view we wanted something we could take out when we dont need. This is such a cinch to install and I can uninstall with one hand while 9 months pregnant. It is also very lightweight making it easy to store and very portable. Would be a great thing to have if you have two vehicles to use this in.

3.) Price Point. We looked at so many that ranged from concerningly inexpensive to ridiculously pricey. We felt the Walky was very middle of the road and excellent value.

Overall we are very satisfied with the Walky. No rattles, secure, easy to install and most importantly keeps our large dog with mild separation anxiety where she belongs. I would recommend this product to friends and family.

I bought this barrier more hopeful, based on the reviews, than optimistic. I spent a lot more for my last two barriers. Both fell down, usually at the most inopportune moments, succumbing to the pressure of my dogs leaning on the vertical posts. Eventually I lost a piece for the first one and thought I just needed to buy a more expensive, "sturdier" version. The second one was just as big of a pain. After it fell the last time, about a year ago, I gave up on a barrier. The dogs were mostly staying in the back, so it didn't seem worth the cost. Then, a few weeks ago, as I was pulling up to a beach on the Oregon coast, my 80+ lb lab got so excited that she jumped out the back window, tramping across my 7 yr old nephew on her way out. Knowing that I was planning to go back to the beach and worried about my dogs' and passengers' safety, I bought the Walky Barrier. I just got back from a week at the beach yesterday and am very satisfied. It works! It was cheaper, easier to install (I have an '07 Rav4), takes less space and works WAY better than the ones with the bars from floor to ceiling. My only, very small, concern is that the horizontal bars seem to be hard to adjust tightly. However, they did stay in place despite my lab's nudging. I don't typically feel compelled to write reviews of products and, I have to admit, probably have only done it when I had a bad experience. This is just such a great product compared to what else is out there.

Our Portuguese Water Dog, Henry, began climbing out of his area behind the rear seats of our 2006 Honda CRV, giving the driver an unwanted lick, not to mention getting a bit too familiar with folks sitting in the back seat. This adjustable and easily installed set of rails keeps him back in his area without creating a big barrier, does not interfere with the driver's rear view and -- miracle of miracles -- does not rattle after a month or so of steady use. Reviews and my suspicions about cheaper alternatives convinced me this unit would work best. It certainly works for us. Of course, your experience may vary, depending on the exact configuration of rear seat headrests, interior shape and other factors. All of the unit's horizontal and vertical rods can be adjusted to fit your car's interior, and the clamping system on the headrests is very firm. The Bice is solidly made, easily adjustable, and easily removed if you want to reclaim the space and drop the rear seats. Top marks.
