Sport climbers Tori Allen and Scott Cory attempt to become the youngest people to climb Yosemite s El Capitan. Yet, they ve never been more than 100 off the ground. How they ll respond to a multi-day adventure up a 3,000 foot wall is anybody s guess. With very little planning, they embark on a 5-day adventure into history. Wall Rats is not your typical climbing film. It s a documentary targeted to kids and their parents that s been wowing audiences across the nation. Award winning filmmaker Steve Edwards has teamed up with climbing legend Hans Florine to create a cross generational experience of what life on a big wall might be like for someone with very little experience. Wall Rats has won the kid s award at every festival that s had one and been well received at others, including front page headlines at the Tahoe-Reno International Film Festival. According to Kathy Dotson, director of the Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival, Even though it only played in the kid s slot, it got a lot of votes (over Grizzly Man, Trudell, What Remains of Us, Real Dirt on Farmer John) for best film overall.

I loved this movie a lot! It's so fun and amazing to watch these star athletes trek up this awesome rock in Yosemite.
