From Library Journal
A fashion photographer for over 20 years, Chin gives us the first collection of his work in this colorful and extravagant volume. The book is loaded with full-page shots of actors, models, and musicians in which Chin captures not only the outward look of his subjects but a part of their essence as well. Often, these elegant and open portraits have a twist, taking an unconventional look at what a person should be or project. Along with the pictures come several written contributions, including pieces by the editorial director of Cond? Nast Publications and the editor in chief of Vogue Italia. Chin has long been a premier artist in his field, and his well-known work for Vanity Fair includes the "Lady Godiva" shot of model Giselle last year, which is, not surprisingly, the first print in this collection. More prints from his early years would have been a welcome addition to this collection of mostly new work. For any fashion photography collection. Rachel Collins, "Library Journal"
