These stories, faithfully edited and preserved for future generations, have opened the door to a broadened understanding of the many men and women whose work with Walt Disney has created one of the great success stories of our time.
In particular, this issue's presentation by Dave Smith (former head of the Walt Disney Archives) on the contributions of Ben Sharpsteen have provided a timely resource as we prepared for the new exhibition, "Walt & Ben: Together Again", now on display at the Sharpsteen Museum of Calistoga History through April 2014. This was exactly the resource we needed... instantly available.
Clearly, the world of Disney history is better for the contributions of Didier Ghez and his series of "Walt's People" books.
