Ok I can finally say it. ROGUE!! How could you? ROGUE!! I had to take several days to mourn this character. He was my favorite character in all of Noffke's series. I have a crush on a dead guy.
This is an epic conclusion! Once again I was blown away by Noffke. I have the biggest book crush on this author. I just haven't met a dream traveler that I didn't love. I mean even the villains I adore. I got to listen to the audible version of this series and loved it. I loved it so much that I bought the Lucidites series in audible too. The narrator did a fantastic job and I found her voice to be a perfect fit.
The rebellion begins and Em is out to save the Reverians whether they want it or not. I think it is a impressive concept. It took me until this book to realize how sheltered they really are. I mean small things that didn't know what they were from history to helicopters. It is a little shocking. I realized they were sheltered but not that bad. It brought a new perspective to everything.
The characters were well done. Em is by far by favorite other than Rogue. She is strong willed, brave, and rash. I just loved her personality and how she can continue and do what needs to be done. Now someone needs to say it but all the crazy and sassy old women crack me up. I was laughing out loud over everything they said. I hope one day to read more about Dee. I really liked her even though she is evil and want to see where she ends up.
First of all, I have to say that every book that I read written by Sarah Noffke is better than the one before! I first read the Lucidite series & loved it, but I think that I love the Reverians even more!
How does a group of kids with special but hidden gifts take on the most powerful man in their community? With the help of Em Fuller & Ren Lewis, you just know that the battle is going to be awesome!
This book has it all: romance, hate, love, the battle between good & evil, snarkiness (thanks, Ren), hope, despair....I could go on & on. You will be kept guessing until the very end of the book. Lots of twists & surprises all along the way. The characters are well-developed, the story is awesome..... Suffice it to say that if you read this series, you will not be disappointed. You might get angry at the author from time to time & you will definitely get angry at some of the characters, but in the end you will say, "I LOVE IT!"
Em Fuller has lost so much already, namely the love of her life, Rogue Vider. Now she is running herself ragged and with very little sleep, she is looking at giving Zack up to the war too. Zack is going to marry Dee so he can have a better position within the government so the Rebels can take it down. The Rebels have accomplished more than they ever thought they could but when Vider kidnaps Nona and Ren all of the careful planning and sacrifice fly out the window. Em and Zack will do anything to get them back. How will this war play out with the Middlings and Dream Travelers? Will the Middlings step up for themselves?
This is an outstanding ending to fabulous series. Mrs. Noffke did an amazing job!
I was feeling a little down on this series after finishing the second book (Rebels). However, Warriors turned my frown upside down, and just blew me away! The ending of this series was amazing! The final showdown with Vider (and her father) was suspenseful, spectacular, and powerful to say the least. Em’s emotional recovery from losing Rogue was very touching to read about. And also Em and Zack’s interactions…. Oh my! I don’t want to be spoilery, but I will say that it’s been a long time since I’ve cried reading a book, but my eyes were glistening and my lip continuously trembling as I witnessed the heartbreaking moments between Zack and Em. I love Sarah Noffke for writing epilogues for her series! I feel like I can walk away from The Reverians totally at peace, and very grateful for having read this wonderful series.
to finish a series. To have your heart ripped out and stomped on then slowly, in tiny piece by tiny piece, it's on the mend. Sarah Noffke has created such an astonishing world full of characters to cherish and loathe. I can't wait to see what's next in her arsenal of words.
I'm always sad when I come to the end of a great series, this one is no different. You just want to keep reading more and more. I gave this 5 stars but if I could I would give it twice that, this story was the best in the series. I will hopefully be reading from the author for a long time to come.
When I first started reading this book I wasn't sure that I would be able to. I couldn't do anything but cry and scream. But then I dried my tears and buckled myself in for the next ride of my life. Omg what a ride. My emotions were all over the place. Sarah you are an amazing writer. You really have done a very good job of out shining every book that I have ever read. I can't wait to read more of your work. Thank you for the amazing journey with Emily, Rogue, Nona, and Zack.
