This is a very important book to read on what American historians and presidential biographers rate as third greatest Constitutional crisis, after Civil War and the Great Depression.

So, a really good book especially if you are a student of modern US political history but for general interest in either Nixon or Watergate it contained too much detail. Worth reading, even so, but for a Brit reading my first book on either subject, I should have guessed at the size of it that it would not be an easy read.
I am going to throw it away and buy a proper copy somewhere.
Very bad experience!!
