This knife has a good weight to it and feels like it's really well made and should hold up for a long time.
You open it by gently pulling the blade out and close it by pressing in the small metal strip on the underside of the knife.
I'm including a bunch of pictures next to a ruler to show size and details.
-Lasts long (If well taken care of)
-Very sharp out of the box
-Wide assortment of colors
-Assisted opening is great and quick
-Long handle for bigger hands
-A bit heavy (Doesn't worry me at all, but I've noticed that many people do care about this.)
-Blade dulls quickly and easily
-If you don't care for the knife, It probably won't last all that long.
-Paint on the handle isn't all that great, scratches come easily and are pretty easy to notice if you get a lot of them.
-The assisted opening might not be so smooth if not cared for, which is what happened to mine for a while.
All in all, this is a good tool if you need something quick and easy and will last you a long time if you take care of the tool. I decided to put up a review of this as I've just purchased a new knife, the Columbia River Knife: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004UHEEFG?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 which will be arriving soon and hope it lives up to the reviews that I have read on that. If you're looking for a similar knife that's of better quality, I would suggest checking out that knife, or another product from Columbia River Knife.
