This isn't a long book, and couldn't have taken me longer than 30 minutes to read. If that. But what I will say, is that it is a very confusing book. There's all kinds of talk about paradoxes, and how you can't go back in time and kill your grandfather before your father is born, because then you won't be killing your grand ... I give up. I need a drink.
I like the fact that this was set on the Titanic, but I just wish this book was longer. I was frustrated by turning each page on the Kindle app, I was speeding ahead like 7% with each page. The book was over before it had really begun, and I really think that the author had an excellent and unusual idea with this. If this idea ever gets expanded on by the author, I would really want to read it.
There's not really much that can be said about this 20 page book. It was interesting, it was confusing and it was frustrating all rolled into one. You won't waste a lot of time reading it, but at the same time, you won't get much insight into the characters, due to the shortness. I just kept wishing that the book would slow down and not go so fast, as the author has some amazing ideas, which I would have liked some more insight into.
It's worthwhile buying if you want a quick read, but you will be left with more questions than answers by the time you've finished.
However, this one felt too rushed. There was a good foundation and an excellent, intriguing conflict that could have carried a much longer story.
There was too much dialogue and not enough action, and - for such a short story - too many errors that a proofread should have caught.
A great idea that I would have loved to see developed further.
